This game seems awesome. The gameplay trailer also looks really good. I can't wait until it's released.

How much does it retail for and where is it available?

It's set for release in 2011 sometime, and I have no idea about the price. You'll just have to keep an eye out for news of its release date. You can get the Total War games anywhere, Walmart has them, Target...anywhere.

Yeah, they offer them up for download on Steam if I'm not mistaken.

Very true, they usually come out spread apart though. Like the PC versions come before Steam, I think.

So the actual game itself (on PC) comes before the Steam download version does? How much is the price difference? Is the Steam Download version any cheaper?

I think it usually does, and I'm not quite sure about the price difference. You can go to steam.com and just search SEGA and find what they charge for the Total War games. Then compare that to a $50 or so PC title.

The reviewer seems to like this game. It sounds like a good game, according to the article.

Judging by the screenshots, the graphics looks very good. Also, the historical accuracy with feudal Japan is impeccable.
