I have no idea why so many people thought it was so scary. IT WAS SO DUMB. My goodness, it was so boring and there would a 30 second scene of a blanket or door, nothing scared me. It was predictably. If you've seen any of the trailers you know whats coming.

It's so bad. Not scary at all. You already know that they'll be blanket rising and door closings if you've seen any of the TOTALLY EXAGGERATED trailers. It's not frightening at all.

If you want a really scary movie I recommend High School musical or maybe Twilight.

I rather liked it, I do agree it wasn't exactly scary like promised it was mainly my interest of ghost stories that made me want to watch it.
I didn't see the sequel though.
