I'm thinking about merging entertainment and random, as well as merging most of the gaming boards, maybe leaving the Sega section alone. As for expansion, I believe we need to enlarge the Sonic section a bit, maybe have a lo-tech wiki forum, or whatever may be suggested, because it seems a little neglected considering our theme and purpose here. Thoughts?

I don't really see the advantage of combining the forums.
But yes, we need more focus on the Sonic section. It's why I always defended the character forums. But even they weren't enough, so we still need more support for the Sonic section.

I don't think any site should go past 20 forums. That said, TSC has 18 which is good. If you're planning on adding forums however, yes, I do suggest some to be merged.
My thoughts; merge the gaming boards leaving Sega alone... maybe you can include one for PC users... and not only include games... but software such as emulators. So there would be three forums for the gaming/software category (Sega, General Gaming, Computer Software).
Regarding Sonic, perhaps a forum on fan-made games? (An official sonic blog >.>- i.e. game reviews, game leaks, sonic news in general...-?.. er... maybe splitting up the Sky Sanctuary into three forums; Genesis, Dreamcast/middle aged and Modern Games....

I really like this idea, there's not much specialized interest among the base here when it comes to the big three so there's no need for extra emphasis.
