Re: SA2B ~ SADX
I liked SA1's setup and lack of Shadow, but SA2 had better levels and Dr. Eggman just plain oozed out every last drop of awesome he had left.

Re: SA2B ~ SADX
It's a tie. Some thing SA1 did better, some things SA2 did better. Sonic Adventure 2 had an awesome storyline, the best one yet, while the character's personalties were better in the first, except Eggman. Sonic's levels were amazing in both games, probably the best levels in any Sonic game ever. Shadow's levels were almost as good, but not quite on par with Sonic's, besides Radical Highway. Tails levels were a lot more fun and playable in SA2, but Eggman's levels were up and down, some better than Gammas, some worse. I would prefer Rouge over Big and Shadow over Amy in SA2. SA2 also had better chao gardens. SA1 had better music, my favorite in the series, and also a better script for the most part. I would rate both games a 9.5, being the best in the series, followed by Sonic Advance. Does that bout sum things up?

Adventure 2.
For cutscenes in one, sonic's head mouth and body were off,
Liked stages in 2 better,
Better music,
Better characters,
NO BIG STAGES!,
Better chao gardens
(IMO)

Re: SA2B ~ SADX
This is a very conflicting question for me. Both games would rank as one of the greatest, regardless of genre or franchise. Sonic Adventure gave you the freedom to choose between characters and walk freely in adventure fields. While Sonic Adventure 2 gave you better graphics, and an improved Chao Garden. I would say I enjoyed Sonic Adventure slightly more if it had better graphics, but all in all I would say Sonic Adventure Director's Cut is my favorite.

Re: SA2B ~ SADX
SA2B. I still consider it the best 3D Sonic.
DX was great, but the music was slightly less than awesome, the glitches were abundant, Big's gameplay was torture more often than not, the cutscenes and voice acting were embarrassing, and the other characters were somewhat given a raw deal, in that their stages were incredibly short and lacking. I can understand them having less stages than Sonic, but why so short and simple? Sonic gets all the meat. :P
SA2B was much more fair to the rest of the cast, on the other hand. Perhaps a little too fair, but everything seemed to have been expanded on and improved, so it didn't matter. Also, the Chao garden was far better and there's even a decent 2-player. Those things easily make up for the lack of those tiny little Adventure Fields.
One thing DX has going for it is its playable Game Gear games. That definitely adds some replay value, even though most of the GG games are mediocre. The mission mode was more annoying and tedious than anything else. Both games are great, but I prefer SA2B. SADX gets old too quickly. =(

Re: SA2B ~ SADX
Definitely SADX, it's my favourite Sonic game of all time. I like it more than SA2B because to me it seems more Sonicky, it has a better storyline, more interesting levels, much better music and Shadow isn't in it, which is the main thing I hate about SA2B, Shadow's introduction to the Sonic series.
