As long as you don't hold one against TSC. We were once all rebels to SoA, so I guess our new phase is fighting SB.

I have spent a little time on the official Sega forum and Sonic Blast. I don't have anything against either forum but I like this one better. Sega's forum is a problem just for it's sheer volume of users...You post something in there and you can expect it to disappear off the front page in one day, maybe two if you are lucky. Sonic Blast is cool but there seems to be a lot of role players there...I have never been the role playing type. I have always liked a close nit community. For example...I continued playing Timesplitters Future Perfect on Xbox Live for years after it's popularity died down. There was a good sized group in that game that continued to make maps and have fun....What is that?---FUN in a first person shooter?---Now THAT is a strange concept!

Yeah I have to admit that SoA has lot its appeal to me because its user landscape has changed so dramatically over time, and the users that still go there have this air of condescending arrogance about them, *coughShadiWulfcough*, *achooSonicationachoo* and it's not very inviting. Most of the new users are noobs, like I was, who are there to repost the same 10 ideas about Sonic that everyone's ever thought since 2002. On top of that, their staff is about as efficient as a well oiled toaster, it doesn't do much, and the little it does do isn't impressive.
As for Sonic Blast, I'm not going to lie just to make my competition seem inferior, Metallix worked on that site and it shows, if only I had my founder account I could do something at their magnitude of detail. But I do agree that they focus heavily on role-playing while our role-playing section is a bit neglected for the most part.
