Wii U?

When I heard the name, the first thing I thought of was a siren.

As for the console itself, it looks rather interesting. The controller reminds me of a tablet PC or a Dreamcast with a VMU inside it (the memory card with a little LCD screen that displays information to you during the game).

I don't know if this might start yet another scramble for a new generation of consoles from everyone else. :<_<:

And you're not the only one who thought that with the name. *sigh* I miss Super Wii...

I kind of liked the concept, but the name indeed sucks. I'm excited to see how it's gonna work out, since the thing is huge and probably freaking expensive.

If it costs more than $300 it won't sell. Hopefully Nintendo can keep a level head in this.

Iwata has said it'll be over 20000 yen, which is about $250. So I'm betting $300.

Oh, I know. But look closely. There are hints in there that put off a large amount of effort. People are saying Link's holding keys, that there are large developments made that aren't necessary for this. This is the beginnings of the next Zelda game.

If they come out with the same-old same-old repetitive games I won't bother with this. But SSB with new characters may consider it otherwise for me... still I hardly play my Wii, so I don't know if it's worth it for me.
