Is there any way to make the PM system work better? There's no reply button on the messages and I'm sick of taking the name of the person, copying it, and pasting it to another whole message.

Also, no offense, but I don't like the forum provider for this forum. Have you ever thought of moving the forum to another forum provider? This one just seems primitive to other forums I've been. Obviously, not the content (I love the content here), but the actual forum attributes. It's kind of a turn off and makes posting a lot slower.

    Just some thoughts.

    I'm not sure...

Although I do agree with you about the forum provider. I don't think we should have moved from Forumotion, and Invision is really awful, you don't get half the features Forumotion gives you.

I think we can actually implement the same graphical changes in Forumotion (this new theme). We could move it back to Forumotion, but keep the graphics.

    Any ideas?

Nothing I can do until Forumotion restores my founding account. I screwed up some of the code so there's no reply button.

We already have another site under construction that's been paid for, full domain name and all. The staff is currently working on ideas for it, I'll post updates when necessary.

    What's wrong with forumotion? xD
Also, I'm pretty sure adding a universal button from picture managements would work... (it won't change with skins). So if you're willing to sacrifice aesthetics for functionality, that's the way to go ^^
And databases can't be controlled/transferred in forumotion, so moving means losing all the posts, and all the members =/

Not to mention disinterested staff. Look at the emotions for example. They're letting problems rise up and aren't taking action.

In any case, if you have an idea to fix it, karkooshy, you and Zezima need to do so ASAP. Like SA2 said, the PM system is really annoying.

You wouldn't need database access if you stayed on forumotion... Not encouraging you to stay on it or anything, if you got a paid domain and are working on a new site, that's amazing! You can even start making some money out of your efforts :)
Just concerned about all the lost members and posts....

Super sorry if I haven't xD
I think you have a universal image on the "compose new PM" button:
    Some suggestions/questions Talk_c10

Just move that to the reply to PM field... and it should work... hopefully xP

OR, remake both skins, or more accurately, the buttons for both skins to be universal. So all that changes with the skin selector is the header, footer, background and colors :) <- (makes it so much easier >.>, until we find a better solution that is)

Can you still do the skin selector and all the other stuff on the version of Forumotion we had earlier?

You mean Phbb2? Yes. Template editing was enabled then :)
Punbb is just easier to work with/code on. It's got more variables available for editing and is just simpler to work with.
The skin selector can be enabled on any version with extra hard work xD

    Oh..

Well, I think we should go back to Phbb2.

I think it's a lot easier to use and stuff (as a forum), and it must be possible to work the same graphical changes there, I'm sure...

No, I just had to make a compromise with what I could do with this account. It works, just not the way I had intended it to with the skin selector. It's a bit complicated.
