I've noticed that a lot of people (and I followed along) referring to Maria`s illness as NIDs. I`ve done a small bit of research and so see that a couple of the "symptoms" do seem to match her. But is it official information that NIDs is what she has? Or is it something that a fan somewhere along the line stated and everyone just followed with it? NIDS = Neuro-immunodeficency Syndrome. Or something to that extent. I can't remember exactly where its origin is, but it seems canonical. I believe it's something like AIDS, possibly genetic. As we all know Wikipedia is editable and all, but it does quote her as having NIDS, as do several other sites.

Perhaps the answer lies in some vague sourcebook or something from SEGA of Japan.

I'm stupid. I don't have any proof which in turn will make it so you don't believe me. I'll continue to know and be happy though. It's nowhere as near as good as being able to support anything but I'd rather admit to this then lie and look like a fool.

Really now? Even if the outcome is the same? I don't see much point, especially since I'm sure this source is not definate proof for you all.

I chose not to say it because I'm not sure it's a reliable source. When people ask for a source they're really just asking for a way to proof whether or not the place I heard the information can be considered reliable or not and I all ready know the answer to that.

What are the symptoms?
