E-123 is a robot, and with the age difference between, for example, Cream and Vector, either one would be fully grown or close, (certainly not a baby at the very least; can't remember Vector's exact age for sure and I'm too lazy to look it up, but if memory serves he's canonically at least 30 in the Sonic Heroes bios, which also list Cream as 6.) or the other would not even be conceived at the time. Shadow would almost surely be frozen in a tube of some sort at the time this would have to occur, neglecting all other time-related problems as well. Even by some time travel magic allowing him to fit into this timeline, they'd have to pull him from another stasis chamber before he was fully matured, which would completely destroy canon of SA2 and beyond, and, I conjecture based on the idea that an "ultimate life-form" would necessarily be immortal and eternally ageless, render him in this infant-like state until such an unlikely point that he's artificially grown to full size as he should be. There's also the fact that the majority of these characters didn't mesh into a social web until well after infancy, the only exception I can think of being possibly Sonic and Robotnik, it being somewhat implied by the situation of Robotnik actively trying to stop Sonic's progress as early as Green Hill Zone that they'd crossed paths with less-than-good results before. This thoroughly irks my OCD. It's also sickeningly cute, which makes my eyes burn. Consequently, I hate you.
