    The biggest example of this would be, of course, Starcraft in South Korea. DAMN. They had two channels dedicated to it, and arena seating for top matches. The players were celebrities and made huge amounts of money from their teams and ads. So much drama between rival players, and it's a 10 year old game!

    Then you've got your Melee, CoD, Halo, C&C, WoW, and all that good stuff. There are quite a few people who consider themselves to be professional video game players.

    So... can video games be considered sports?

    At ComicCon and GamerScore Arena Brawls they have contest on things like CoD and HALO.
