Problem: TSC and Mobile Device Empty Problem: TSC and Mobile Device

    Post by TrueBlue52 July 30th 2012, 7:52 pm

I don't know how much of a priority this problem is:

I have an Ipod Touch. I sometimes use the Safari browser to get online. But when I try to get on TSC, the website's dimensions interfere with the Ipod's (or maybe safari's?) dimensions.

The bottom line is that I get a really zoomed in screen when I visit this website from my iPod Touch. And no, I did not accidentally zoom in. It distorts all of the content so that I essentially can't do anything when i visit this website.

Other forums work fine, and this is the only website I've had any issues with.

On my ipod touch, when i load the the page,
its cutting off the edges so all that i can see
when i load the page is something like this:

    lueDude, Yesterday at 21:54

    oday at 18:47
    lfritz, Today at 18:17

    oday at 15:25

It won't let me see anything to the left of that. I can't zoom out, I can't see the logo at the top or most of the page at all.

I wish I could take a screen shot on my ipod touch

I don't want to reset the iPod touch.

It doesn't freeze my iPod, it just doesn't display the website right.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, there should be a link that takes you out of the mobile version of the site and into the complete one.
Blame forumotion for not allowing us to edit/disable the mobile version of the site :P
    Hope that helped.

Also, when using the mobile version of a website there's often something at the end of the URL starting with a #. If you delete that you should be in business. Maybe.

the # followed by a number is supposed to take you to a specific post. There is a number at the top of each post.

    EX: http://www.sonicommunity.net/t7111-problem-tsc-and-mobile-device#145240

This takes you to post number 1 in this Topic.

Haha, well it seems to be a problem on all of the forums by the host. So the Admins probably won't be able to fix it.

But it is worth looking into.
