When he was not observably here, he was close enough to watch Tescia in morbid interest in the affairs of the mortals and lesser divines who make their kingdoms in this realm, most certainly, as he is ever close enough to watch over all realms, ever the loving father of the children he may never touch; he lurked through every shadow beyond the fringes of our observable existence, and slithered through even the tiniest cracks in the world, filling the smallest of unobservable pinholes. And eventually, we came to interest Mly, and so he saw fit to forge a physical avatar to roam upon these lands. And yet, even so, Mly is not strictly here even now; so it must be, as for his true shape to be in this realm, would be to consume the space it occupies, rendering it into being Tescia no more, and merely more of the limitless black to which Mly grants thought. Mly existed ever before the birth of our cozy little realm, and will continue to be ever after its death, at last wrapping his infinite black tendrils about the wayward, deceased child, named Tescia by us, that is ultimately his just the same as it is Zezima's; wrapping her in his cold, loving embrace.
