Good video editor?

I am looking for a video editor, and a good nice one with lots of features. Features like editing in a sound effect such as "No, I am your father" or "I'mma firin' mah lazors!" and the ability to copy and paste frames from scenes, not paste the scenes and work hard to make it start from a certain frame a la Windows Movie Maker.

And other effects like adding a sound effect and deleting the original audio, by selecting a certain time and pasting the audio file from that moment.

I'd like it to be small in size and either free or bought. Wanna try making a simple YouTube poop video and use it to start out great in the world of videos.

Can you explain the interface of Vegas quickly? I can't wait to stop WMM.

I would try adobe premiere, it has effective and simple to use audio/video editing.

Adobe Premiere, but that's the only video editing program next to WMM I can work with.

What Pianta and Nuva said. I've recently gotten used to Premiere (after buying it and being confused on how to use it for a week) It's pretty simple and good, and cheap compared to Sony Vegas. I also plan to try Sony Vegas out later.

Camtasia Studio is the most beautiful thing I have ever used.

Well I'll go ahead and try, Premiere. Also PirateBay rocks, I never noticed that cassette tape instead of the skull lol.

We'll see what's the best Premiere torrent online...

Also I recorded with Camtasia and then deleted it. Lagged my computer to no end unlike Bandicam or Fraps.

I recommended it as a video editor, not a capturing program.

For Capturing I just use Fraps.

Adobe has some good video editing software, there was also a free one that I forget was called that actually was really good, it's driving me nuts of the name of it.. :/
Or just use Windows Movie Maker haha.

Sorry, but what? Premiere CS6 is $800, Vegas Pro 11 is $600. Unless you're referring to Premiere Elements which doesn't come anywhere close to the functionality of the full version.
