Good to have things confirmed, although I don't like the idea of character cuts.

So basically, SSB: Street Fighter edition?

What I know about SSBB 4: It's not coming out fast enough.

Well, like the article says, we'll be lucky to get it by 2014.

Well all what I hope is that the Smash series stay the way it went since the first title... I don't want to have a Smash game that works like Street Fighter games.

We'll see later.

I like the idea of character cuts. It opens up space for new characters. While Brawl isn't as bad as Melee in regards to clones, there were still too many. The three Star Fox characters, Ness/Lucas, Link/Toon Link, are good examples. Additionally, some franchises get blatant priority (Mario).

Interesting to see that the game will be developed by Namco-Bandai. For the most part, I do not mind character cuts, but I hope they don't get rid of Wolf. He was one of my mains in Brawl. I'd be fine if they reworked his moveset, but I'd be sad if they got rid of him.

I also hope that King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong games gets in the game as well.

And this is why I don't like character cuts. You may be averting clones, but it's the easy way out, and since clones aren't hurting the production much, it's a no-win situation.

I'd have no problems with character cuts if they deal with the clones, like Young Link. Seriously, Adult Link is better, and I consider him default. Young Link is just like him albeit with a few differences, so what's the use sir?

I just hope they don't get rid of original characters. I hope they never touch Bowser and Sonic.

Cause you never expect what tricks are up Ninten's sleeves. Also its probably a portable only game if the rumors are right, leaving the consoles (what about the next generation?) to shame.

Oh. I understand what you mean, then. I really do.

It's been confirmed to be for both Wii U and 3DS.

I think the Wii U is nothing more but a portable game console/controller that may have to do a lot with the Wii, maybe combine with each other for game gimmicks. Still, I feel that the game if it ever wants to see the day on TV, requires both Wii U and Wii. Also the 3DS and Wii U are different if rumors are correct. Why that, I dunno. Don't tell me hardware limits though.

I'd like to see Smash 4 on TV as well, with all the melee modes we all enjoy. I'll say I only played the first and Melee, fyi.

Nop, I did. The link never mentioned anything about the Wii. And if multiplayer with the Wii U means, well, at least two of em', what can I say?

It won't be on the Wii since it will be outdated by Wii U by the time it's released.

Right sykog. They're making two Smash Bros. games, one for the Wii-U and one for the 3DS.

Why don't we take all the Nintendo characters and replace them with Sony's

God o' War in Smash Bros, wow... But I doubt Ninten will ever get the God o' War to Smash Bros. Spyro and Crash are dead we'll assume as well.

Crash is, Spyro's been recruited into Skylanders. Neither represent Sony anymore.
