Official Zez Dogpile Thread

This is where you come to me complaining about every little instance about the site that's wrong, or bothers you, per the customary tradition of skin transitions.

But no, seriously, post all comments, questions, suggestions, recommendations, bugs, feature requests; anything at all relating to the design of the site, and I'll address them here.

And yes, I'm well aware this skin is far from complete, and I'm working as fast I can, but I am indeed only one user, so patience is cardinal.

Looks nice. The quote/topic/reply buttons look nice. I think posts should have an outline and/or be filled in with a different color.

The navbar is pretty awesome too. The wisps coming up when you roll over a piece of the bar is neat, but seems kind of pointless at the same time.

The fade into black for the middle of the page works pretty well, but the transition at the bottom needs to be smoother. Right now it's a hard transition. Finally, experimenting with the black piece of the background could lead to something interesting. Stars here and there, planets, wisps, whatever.

I don't see anything, so a colorful choice so far.

No descriptions for the forums.

I think the post box would look better white or with a blueish hue

This skin is way too dark! By any chance is it possible to make an option where I can change the skins whenever I want?

Site is kind of badly optimized for 1080p displays... sides are nothing but black bars.

Upper menu/site navigation isn't perfectly in the middle (though this just might be me and FireFox).

Aside from that, looks good.

Missing images include the 'arcade' banner on the home page and almost every header in TSCollection. Most of the TSCollection links lead to blank pages while others have become unreadable due to the dark background. The rank ribbons are now inaccurate due to the newly enacted rank system (i.e. my rank is now in the middle of 'C' and 'B', yet my ribbon says that I'm currently rank 'A'). Also, as nice as the navigational bar is, I personally think it would be a lot nicer if each button had it's own distinct wisp... but that is just a graphical nuisance that doesn't really matter.

Who's going to read elsewhere if the big link to the topic explicitly said "Don't like the new skin?"...? I find this logic of read before you plead flawed, but either way, duly noted.

I love it. I have always liked black backgrounds better than white ones. To me, it is more soothing on the eyes. I remember being taught that it was the appropriate thing to do to have white backgrounds in my web design classes lol. I also like how Sonic looks. Why does he say "Watch your balls"? Is it because he is reaching low?

It's inoffensive. My eyes are grateful.
