Weakling or da bombz?
Is Silver REALLY that good at hand-to-hand combat to beat up Sonic twice??

Re: Weakling or da bombz?
Silver's as good as they make him out to be. And the phycokenesis is apart of him just as Sonic's speed is a part of him so it's all good.

He is pretty strong, but he caught Sonic while he was at a disadvantage both times, Shadow didn't have much trouble with him when they fought on even ground.

How was he at disadvantage?

Sonic was more focused on protecting Elise then fighting with Silver at the time.

Re: Weakling or da bombz?
No. He was simply a new character so SEGA wanted him to look cooler than he actually is by letting him beat up Sonic for a little bit at first, but then never again.

Re: Weakling or da bombz?
I don't think so for the second time. Elise wasn't the reason he got caught in Silver's psychic web holding thing.Crystal Chaotix 3 wrote:Zezima wrote:Roterblitz wrote:He is pretty strong, but he caught Sonic while he was at a disadvantage both times, Shadow didn't have much trouble with him when they fought on even ground.

They were very modest with Silver's competence, your description sounds more like what they did with Shadow, only they haven't stopped.sykog77 wrote:No. He was simply a new character so SEGA wanted him to look cooler than he actually is by letting him beat up Sonic for a little bit at first, but then never again.

They've fought in SA2 and Shadow the Hedgehog with results that lead to Shadow looking stronger. If there's any others where Shadow came out looking superior when they fought then let me know.

Re: Weakling or da bombz?
Not counting the player-determined "draws", Sonic and Silver have officially lost at least once at some point in the series, Shadow has fought both of them and remains undefeated.

Re: Weakling or da bombz?
That's true. I wouldn't say that would be enough to discredit who'd win though though considering the circumstances that Shadow had won under.
Not to mention Shadow and Silver's fight didn't really have a conclusion before the chaos control happened.

No, not even in Shadow's ending, which was supposed to be a hopeless last stand against absurdly superior numbers. In the first cutscene of Last Story, not only did Shadow survive against the Thermopylae-class odds, he won.The Freedom Fighter wrote:Didn't Mephiles beat Shadow?

No because he got flung against a wall and Omega had to come in and back up Shadow.Roterblitz wrote:No, not even in Shadow's ending, which was supposed to be a hopeless last stand against absurdly superior numbers. Not to mention Shadow has lost against Emerl, and possibly a Guard Robo, though that may not count as I think he cheap shotted Shadow.

Re: Weakling or da bombz?
It's New Rival Syndrome. He's strong at first, and later becomes Sonic's ally.
