Re: Sonic Free Riders
I sort of grazed the article. Is this going to be playable without motion controls or is Sega just going to make it suck on purpose this time?

Re: Sonic Free Riders
How about this time, instead of Super Sonic, you unlock Sonic running on foot.

Re: Sonic Free Riders
Somehow this idea reminds me of those skateboarding games from the arcade. I was never too good at those games, but that was a long time ago. I imagine there would be a lot of leaning forwards, backwards and side-to-side-to-side, along with some frantic flailing of limbs to launch power-ups. For now, I guess it depends on how the technology is implemented.
Personally I'm not exactly drooling over the whole Kinect thing just yet. I'll give it some time to prove itself.

Re: Sonic Free Riders
Ive seen some gameplay of it using the kenect and i think that it actully works very well. From what ive seen the reaction time is good it follows everything well and u can use powerups pretty easily. The whole trick thing will take some getting used to but it looked good too so i think that even if it is only usable by kenect it should still be a pretty good game

Re: Sonic Free Riders
Is this Sonic Free Riders? I've played it before, and it was quite a good game. I hope that they will continue to make the game.

Still, if it's good, like Kinetica, it'll be worth it.

I saw this in Game today, is it an X-Box 360 Exclusive? I only have a Wii. :\

Not only 360 exclusive, but Kinect exclusive as well. Sega really tried as hard as they could to drive people away from this game.elseb wrote:I saw this in Game today, is it an X-Box 360 Exclusive? I only have a Wii. :\

http://www.segabits.com/?p=5515 Best Sonic Free Riders review ever
Sounds good. I encourage you to watch this review, trust me, it's good.
If there is one tip I can give anyone that is planning on getting Kinect, make sure you have enough room to jump around and play games. Especially if your going to film yourself and put it on YouTube, learn to edit stuff out.
Above is a review by YouTube user lawrenceraybon, he even suggest that you subscribe to get more reviews like this. I will subscribe, thank you.
