What is the white patch of fabric across his shoes?

Did you know that Sonic's shoes were inspired from Michael Jackson's shoes in Bad.

I don't know, I would call it a stripe, but sometimes it seems to stick out, like it's an extra patch of fabric just buckled to his shoes.

He is talking about Sonic.

And on the soap shoes and his old shoes, I think the white stripe is some sort of leather(or other frabric) strap, which holds the shoe on with that gold buckle. With his soap shoes, there is a chance it could be Velcro or something similar as well...

There is more to it then that. The topic may be about a certain character but it would be unrealistic if other characters weren't given mention to.

There is more to it then that. The topic may be about a certain character but it would be unrealistic if other characters weren't given mention to.

That's what I am saying. That they should only compare then just randomly bring them up.....and shut up, I do that in different ways..I just knew some one would bring it up sooner or later. They should only be mentioned when coparing.

I've always assumed the white strap on Sonic's shoes are a piece of leather, or some other material.
