Favorite Zones

What are your favorite zones from Sonic games? Some of mine would be:
Sonic 1: Star Light Zone
Sonic 2: Chemical Plant Zone
Sonic and Knuckles: Lava Reef through Sky Sanctury

Red Mountain.

i'd have to say...the GUN fortress.

My favourite Zone would have to be Angel Island Zone. The music was quite well done, and the transition from a tropical paradise to a blazing forest fire still causes it to stand out within my mind over numerous other opening stages.

Casino Night Zone- best Sonic zone ever IMO, it's different, you can't easily die but most of all it has the most gorgeous background, it's so nice looking it easily makes it my no.1 fave Sonic level. The music's awful though, and I dread the boss. ><

Sonic 1: Marble Zone
Sonic 2: Metropolis
Sonic 3: Marble Garden
S&K: Sandopolis/Lava Reef
Chaotix: Speed Slider

That's probably one of my favorites, along with Starlight Zone.

That's probably one of my favorites, along with Starlight Zone.

That's Carnival Night Zone you're thinking about. ;) I haaate that level, damn barrel! >_>

i hated that boss, too.

It's an easy boss.

I didn't like that one too much.

I can understand why people hate the Carnival Night barrel so much, but I didn't have that much trouble with it. When I landed on a barrel after a running start, I was already making it go up and down, and I acted out of instinct from there.
The music in that stage was kinda catchy, and I like the Boss at the end, with the electro-magnetic force.

My favourite is Sonic & Kunckles' Death Egg Zone. It was epic in my opinion

I liked Angel Island from Sonic 3 The Blazing Forest was the best!
