Ghost Hunters

TAPS has opened up a new branch: Teenage Ghost Hunting. Searching for paranormal evidence is one thing...doing it as a minor is another. TAPS recruited this small town ghost hunting team and one of their close friends/honorary investigators to be the new members of their latest branch. The team members are:

Leader/Investigator: Ashley, age 15
Co-Leader/Investigator: Sonic, age 15
Investigator/Historian: Will, age 16
Investigator/Case Manager: Amy, age 12
Investigator/Tech Manager: Miles "Tails," age 8

As you can see, it's not a very big team and there's plenty of room for rotating members.

First Case: Mansion in Parkland, Florida

For their first case, Grant and Jason will be joining them from the professional TAPS team.
"Guess what?" Grant asked.
"What?" Ash answered.
"Well, there are going to be a couple more cameras here...because Sy-Fy is making a show of you guys, too. It's called, 'Ghost Hunters: The Next Generation.'"
"Really?" the TAPS II team said in awe, cheering and smiling and laughing.
"Yep," Jason said, continuing to drive.
When they arrived at the mansion, they were dumbstruck. It was HUGE.
"But...it looks new," Will commented.
"It's not, they just remodeled it," Tails explained. "Hey, I thought you were the historian."
"Well, I need some training from the experts," Will said with a wink.
"Okay, the woman who lives here is named Debbie," Amy said, "and she's going to take us for a tour and show us the hotspots."
"Get your journals ready," Ash suggested, "and draw a map."

Bloodshot came up from behind the gang and said "your not really going to go in there are you?"

it's not a freaking RPG but that's okay cause your my friend and you can co write it if you want.

"Yes, we are going in there," Ash stated proudly. "What, are you scared, Bloodshot?" (They do know each other now, right?)
Bloodshot gave them a look which they understood meant he thought they were crazy. "Ghosts can't hurt you," Sonic said smiling, "so we're going to go in there with our equipment and find them."
"Ghosts...." Bloodshot muttered.

AND BTW, Parkland IS A REAL PLACE. I GREW UP IN THE TOWN NEXT TO IT.

SORRY! IT'S JUST...
I was thinking this would be like the TV show, and they do it all at once...I guess it would work if Bloodshot investigated by himself and then reported back with the information later.

"Suit yourself" Bloodshot said walking off "Oh and one more thing Ash promise me you'll be careful..."

"Huh?" she said, turning around. She gave him a sideways glance, then nodded and waved. She turned around, and Will had his head down and was whispering something.

Bloodshot called Shock on his cellphone and said "Pack your bags bro where going ghost hunting!" "Right man pick me up in the next hour or so" Shock replied

The crew got out and walked inside to get the tour and learn where all the hotspots are. While the lady was walking them through, Will talked to Ash using his mind powers.
Do you think he likes me? Ash asked, knowing this was a sensitivce topic with Will.
Well, he wants you to be safe, like any other friend...that's all, I'm sure. Will answered.
Do you think he's going to ruin our first hunt ever? Ash wondered.
I hope not, Will replied, tightening his grip on Ash's hand.

Meanwhile outside the mansion "When I said pack your bags I didn't mean bring ever thing with you including your tent!" Bloodshot shouted "Eh what can you do anyway who knows I might even be able to capture that ghost" he replied

"Okay kids, what are you going to do?" Kris asked TAPS II.
"First, we set up the equipment. We want to cover the whole place, but focus on the hotspots," Ash recited.
"Yes, great."
They got to work on setting up their equipment so that they could collect the most evidence as possible.
"I hope you got a good night's sleep last night," Tails said, "because we aren't going to get any tonight."

"whao bloodshot look a ghost! Don't scare it off!" He said to Bloodshot "Well I'll be damned its a ghost of a dog that used to live here but aren't ghosts invisible?" he asked Shock "Heck this one must of showed its self for some reson wheres the ghost catcher?" Shock replied "Great name..." Bloodshot mumbeled

I'm sorry, but have you even seen the show? Watch an episode or two on Syfy.com, since they tend to find stuff like mists, shadows, disembodied voices (random voices) and EVP's (voices that reply to their questions). Usually, they're just noises and they cannot tell what they are saying. There is usually nothing that definite, but there have been times.

The crew went lights out and got ready to investigate. Ash and Sonic were about to go into the kitchen and living room area when they heard a noise coming from somewhere in the house, followed by some voices that sounded like yelling.
"Turn on the EVP," Sonic whispered, and Ash did what he said.
"Wow," Ash whispered.

Ignore the post before you then.
"Hey Shock come on lets have a peek in the house" Bloodshot said to Shock

"What's that?" Tails asked Will. They were staking out the first bedroom, where some of the only claims of full bodied apparations were reported to be seen. "It sounds like footsteps."
"I hear it too," Will agreed. It was incredibly faint; anyone without proper training wouldn't have heard. They stood up, and carefully walked to the main hallway where they thought the noise was coming from.
Will, watching the thermal carefully, gasped. "Look at this, Tails!" he said. His friend peeked over his shoulder, and gasped in awe at the thermal signature he guessed was a dog.
"They did say they sometimes heard barking and stuff," Tails remembered, "and that they used to have a dog."
Tails ran in and got the camera, which he focused on the area the thermal imager was covering.
"Let's get an EVP going," Will suggested, and he pulled his mini DVR (digital voice recorder) out of his pocket. He turned it on.
"Alright, this is Will and Tails doing the first bedroom. We heard footsteps outside, and came out into the main hallway," he said, tagging the tape.
"Hello?" Tails called.
There was no answer, but they left it a minute to respond as usual.
"Can you make your presence known?" Will asked, going through the usual EVP questions.
"What was that?" Tails gasped.

Tails was tapped on his shoulder by Bloodshot "Hey Tails you seen Shock around?" Bloodshot assked "Me and him where looking for evidence of a ghost but then there was this load crashing sound, then it felt like someone ran up and pushed me... After that when I got up Shock was gone. I'd say he was just scared and ran off have you seen him?"

"What are you doing here?" he snapped. "Will, turn off the EVP. If there's nothing good, erase it." He turned back to Bloodshot. "This place was supposed to be compeltely sealed off. Get out! You do know this is being videotaped for the TV show, right?"

"Heh Sorry little man..." he replied "Anyway I'll go and search for some more evidence but before I do have you seen him?"

"No, we havent. We haven't seen anyone but the rest of the crew," Will growled. "Now get the hell out of here. First you come after my girl, then you ruin our investigation?" Will shoved him, and Bloodshot flew into the door.

"What your girl?" Bloodshot said holding his head

"Telling her to be careful isn't normal behavior for friends. Not even her best friend, who happens to be her brother--who doesn't even warn her if she's about to step on a sharp rock barefoot. Don't give me that...just get the hell out of here."

"If your looking for a Fight I'll give you one buddy!"

"Just wait...you haven't seen my fight yet, have you...oh, I can't wait to see the look on your face," Will snarled.
"Guys! Stop!" Tails yelled.
Will sighed. "We'll resolve this tomorrow," he breathed, then grabbed Bloodshot's arm. "I'll escort you out," he said, dragging him down the stairs and shoving him out the door. He then bolted it closed, and jogged back up the stairs.

"That guy is gonna get it sometime..." Bloodhot whispered to himself "Anyway I can't leave now Shocks in there... Hmmm... The back door... Maybe..."

"Lock the back door," he instructed Sonic through the walkie talkie, "He has a friend."
