Guess who dared me to write another story? :faic: This story was inspired by my dogs' toy, a squirrel.

    A Nutty Squirrel
    There once was a squirrel
Who wanted to taste the yummiest nut in the world
So, one day, he left his tree and went on a journey across the world
He traveled all over, tasting some of the best nuts around, but none tasted better than the ones from home
He spent months on the journey
Yet, as enjoyable as it was, he was still desperate to find that nut that triumphed over all
One day, as he hopped through some trees, he ran into another squirrel who told him that he too had gone on a journey
And, amazingly enough, he had found that nut
He had none on him unfortunately, but he told him where the squirrel could go to get them
    So off he went
It took him a good while, but he found the tree, but saw no nuts around
Confused, the squirrel was about to climb the tree and see if he could find one, but then another squirrel came out
He told him that, because this was his tree, he had taken all the nuts for himself, and only those who could bring him a nut in payment could have one
"But," the tree-owning squirrel said, "it must be a flavor I've yet to taste."
It was then that the squirrel smiled, for his journey had gotten him to take a grand assortment of nuts with him
It took awhile, but at last the tree-owning squirrel had a look of surprise on his face
"Where did you get this nut?" he asked
Our squirrel looked over and saw it was the one from his own tree
"That's one I brought from home," he told him
The tree-owning squirrel told him it was the best flavor he'd ever had, and gave promptly traded nuts with our squirrel
Sure enough, as tasty as this nut was, the nuts from our squirrel were far tastier
The squirrel soon realized that he truly belonged at home, for the nuts there were the best around, and he would never trade them for another again
    The end

Well thank you. I do try.

So yeah, I meant to post this sooner, but yeah, oh well.

    Our Story
One day, after spending so much time apart, two friends, Tom and Sam decided that their friendship could no longer be confined to mere text. Both were desperate to meet each other, to see each other personally, and to hear their thoughts from their own voices. So, the two made a mission to meet and spend as much time together as possible. After much debating, Tom convinced Sam to visit him, as he was far too shy, and even though so was she, he spent every second before the flight talking to her and boosting her confidence. At last, the day came, and Sam said her last goodbye as she left for the airport. All day, Tom was on edge, praying for her and hoping she was doing fine on the plane. Sam was extremely nervous, but went with the flow, for she wanted to meet her friend far more than she was willing to worry. After many hours passed, her plane arrived and would land soon. Tom immediately got ready, jumped in his car and drove to the airport to pick her up. At last, the plane landed, and Sam exited and walked to the security gate. There, wearing a specific shirt to be identified, Tom stood, giddy with delight. The moment she saw him, Sam dashed to her friend and jumped at him in an effort to embrace, nearly knocking him over in the process. After that, they waited at baggage, regaling each other with tales and trying to get used to each other's voices. Finally, baggage arrived and the two merrily walked back to the car. Just as Sam strapped in, Tom pulled out a candy bar, knowing her desire to taste it some local delights, and she devoured it to satisfy her hunger, thanking her friend afterwards. After handing her a soda, they drove back to his place to rest the jetlag off.

The next day the two of them began going to the most fun places Tom knew of. They went to a water park and rode all the water slides, even the ones Tom was too scared to ride. The next day they went to a roller coaster park and had fun there. They then went to a river area, where one could slide down on the wet rocks, taking in the sites as well. After going tubing in yet another river, the two were having more fun than they ever had before. It was then, on a trip to a local landmark, that they started to realize that there were feelings that they had yet to recognize. After they had a good view, they went to a restaurant, which became more romantic than they intended, but was totally worth being unexpected. As they rode the train back home, the two settled next to each other and actually cuddled; something neither had imagined would happen. Then, as they came home and walked into his place, they stared into each other’s eyes, seeing into each other’s souls. And, gathering more courage than he could have imagined he had, he came towards her, embraced her, and gave her a kiss neither would ever forget.

Deciding to try out this new found love, the two made much more effort to get to know each other, even more than the large amount they already knew. The night after their first kiss, Tom went to a romantic restaurant with Sam, treating her to whatever she wanted. The date was fabulous, but continued to reign amazing even during the ride home. She rested her head on his arm and told him how much she appreciated all he had done so far. Tom blushed the entire ride back, hoping the night hid his redness, but of course failed. That night the two fell asleep on the couch together watching TV, with the two cuddled close together. The next day the two decided to rest, allowing them to chill out and talk. After having happily had their fun talking and embarrassing each other, Sam declared boredom, and, desperate to keep his new love pleased, Tom regretfully suggested shopping. Practically dragging Tom to the store, the two blasted through the mall, Sam continually going about. Thankfully, Sam had brought her own money, so Tom wouldn't go bankrupt buying her shoes, but he did buy her some stuff as well. After giving Tom a personal fashion show, the two popped in some games to wind down the day. Sam threatened to yell at Tom if he didn't let her play her favorite game, so his stayed for but a moment. The two had a blast, as the two friends clashed. Deciding to take a break, Tom went to the kitchen and attempted to cook Sam's favorite meal. Thankfully, Sam was an expert at cooking, so she made sure it was made as great as possible, and somehow having fun in the kitchen as well. The two ate happily, and afterwards readied themselves for bed.

Tom insisted she sleep in his bed, rather than with him on the couch again, but she instead forced him into his own bed on threat of throwing him in it. Still, he was sure to make it as safe as possible, for he would not take advantage of her. The next day they went to visit family and Tom was thoroughly embarrassed by comments from his family, but Sam just shrugged them off and laughed at Tom's embarrassment. The night came again and they slept together again, this time allowing himself to cuddle with her, with the promise that he wouldn't do anything perverted, although she playfully said she wouldn't make the tome. At last, the final day of her trip came, and Sam faced a difficult decision. Should she return home, leaving her love behind, or stay and enjoy his company for years to come? Tom did not help matters, as he only would say he wanted her to be happy, rather than admit his desire for her to stay. Sam knew the choice was hard, but she decided to do what was right in her heart. After going to see a movie, Sam would tell Tom her decision. The two could hardly focus on the movie, daring to wonder what their partner thought. At last, as they exited the theater and drove home, Tom asked Sam for her decision, but teased him to wait until the right moment. As Tom opened the door for Sam, and as they walked inside, Sam turned to face Tom and said, "I've made my decision."

Tom, scared of the answer, meekly asked, "And?"

Sam jumped into arms and gave him the best kiss they ever experienced…yet.

    To be continued...

Yes, I suppose so. After all, if two people can truly relate on the emotional and mental level before even moving to the physical level, it says a good deal about them.

Well thank you. Although I don't know if I'd call my works poetry; then again, I don't know it well anyway, so maybe it is.

So yeah, if I remember right, X asked for a story awhile back, and I figured it would be a good gift to give. So yeah, hopefully it'll be good.

    Distance
It was yet another day for Ben and Linda. Life since they had come together was splendid, and they spent every moment together. But life is not bound for greatness for all. One day, Linda received a call; an emergency in the family had come about, and it meant she would be forced to leave behind her love. Ben was bound to his career, and thus couldn't leave with her. The day she left him at the airport was the saddest day they had experienced yet, but promised to keep in touch at every opportunity. Days went by, and more and more did their despair grow. No matter what they did, to not feel their tenderness in person was heartbreaking. Ben kept saying he would leave his world behind to join hers, but she commanded him not to, for she had hope she would leave. Alas, she was wrong. The days extended on. Her job allowed her to work online, but it meant she would have a harder time finding an excuse to return. Ben continually made deals at work, finally achieving a schedule that could balance with hers. The fear that the two lovers would lose all hope of Linda's return hung high between them. But there was still one last opportunity he had, for he was given an opportunity to take a vacation, and finally was reunited with his lost love, if only for a short time. They tried to keep the time pleasant, but arguments arose whenever the subject of her return came up. One day, they just sat and realized that they were stuck. Linda could not abandon her family, and Ben could not leave behind his family, his friends, or his life. Too many would be hurt if either moved, which meant that they couldn't be together again for a long time. However, they were not going to abandon their love just because of an inconvience. No, they knew what they had to do: they would share the pain, their love distanced, but at the same time, closer than ever. For every moment they shared on the phone, or online, or even in the brief times Ben would receive to travel to Linda, they promised they would never stop their love, for they knew they would never love anyone more than each other.

    A to Z Story

"Anyway, Barry's computer died. Everything froze. Go home in jubilee. No life may occur. Perhaps Queen Rabla stole the universal vessel when Xena yerked zillionaires."

    Lan says:
    *Alright, then here we go!

    Family Foibles
*Disaster struck! A family of three watched as their sink exploded, water pouring across the floor.
*The three had been laying back and enjoying each other's company when the pipes gave way to the pressures of gravity and the water they carried.
*Unfortunately for them, they couldn't afford to pay for someone to repair the damage, which left the dad to work his magic upon the pipes.
*Mother and daughter offered to clean things up, but the hard work still stuck with him as he worked away on the project.
*It wasn't fun and it wasn't easy, but he had to do what he could for their family. Unfortunately, he hurt himself, and sat on the ground to take a break.
*His daughter came over and asked for some fun, but the youngling didn't realize the difficulties presented before him. She merely saw him as a bored and troubled person in need of fun.
*As true as it was, he told her to wait until he finished. But his work took him into the night and he wasn't even done yet, although at least he neared.
*His wife checked on him once more, but he told her he was almost done as he began making his checks on the pipes.
*As soon as he tested the sink and was sure it was fixed, he cleaned himself up. His wife told him to hurry back inside, and while he was confused, he complied.
*Sure enough, cuddled into his favorite chair, his daughter lay, holding her toys and a book for him to read to her. Touched by her patience, he picked her up and carried her to bed.
*She awoke at his touch and asked if they could play now, the sleepiness apparent in her eyes.
*He told her he'd read her the book at least, and she practically woke up at the words before her.
*She wanted one last game together, he could tell, but sleeping was more important, and story would be simple enough for them both to enjoy.
*The story told of knights and princesses and excitement, and yet, as the ending rolled in, it rolled in with peace and somberness, and it got the little one to finally shut her eyes.
*As the story ended, and the father stood, he kissed her tonight and tucked her in, and her last words for the night were just, "I can't wait till we play tomorrow, Daddy."
    *The end

    The Tournament
A long time ago, fifty men were desperate. A tournament to conquer the land raged, and only one would do that job. It was a fight, with the only rule not to slay a single being. One man decided to defy that rule, knowing full-well that anyone who dared to defeat a killer of fifty would clearly be too fearful and could never hope to win. But before anyone could throw one blade, a man sat before the fifty, surrounded, and seemingly fearless. The man, angered by the youngling, charged with fury, but even he was forced to settle with every approaching step. Anyone who neared him was calm; they were cool and collected. Somehow, the man could bring peace without even opening an eye, and it was enough to convince all to bow before him. He had won.

    December's End
The night was ending fast; if he was to deck the halls, it had to be now.
The boughs of holly were spread, yet it wasn't enough to make the season jolly.
He had donned the apparel, yet the ancient carols were not trolled.
But as the yule log blazed, the chorus and harp sang far and large, again and again.
He followed the merry measure, he learned of the Christmas treasure.
Once the old year passed and the new year came, the joy of singing would conquer all wind and weather.

Post by The Freedom Fighter May 8th 2012, 12:37 am

Here's an old game idea I had back from SOA. Enjoy!
    ~
    Sonic The Hedgehog Zero:
It will be about Pie. Seriously. It'll be called Sonic The Hedgehog Zero. This tells the story of how Sonic met Pie The Pie, who he soon learns is more than meets the eye. And he also uses guns to kill Shadow, his rival, years before SEGA even thought him up. The game got delayed so long because the game designers were geniuses. But now that they played Russian Roulette with a loaded gun, they're ready to release this timeless prequel. Get yours now.

Continuing on, here's the gameplay. Sonic, unlike his previous adventures of fast paced action, will be moving little more slowly. See, this game takes place before he learned how to run. His goal is to walk to the goal ring. His Spin Attack is now A Simple Hop. If you can collect 50000 rings and find the Super High Jump Spring Thing, you go to the special stage, where you have to fight five thousand robots using a squirt gun. ONce beaten, you get ranked depending on how well you do.

To continue, you can also play as Pie The Pie. He, at first, seems like a good natured pie, but, as I said, is more than meets the eye. That's right, fans and fanettes, he's a Transformer! He got rejected by Hasbro because it was a stupid idea, but when SEGA saw it, they couldn't say no. In any case, his gameplay is awesome, because he gets a rocket launcher. Of course, in order to keep the E-10 Rating, it shoots flowers. This ultimate weapon, known as Flour Power, is Pie's uber weapon, which can kill people 5 times at once. But, that's not his mission. His mission is to meet Sonic and get him to eat him. Why, you ask? Food poisoning. His gameplay, aside from tranforming and Flour Power, is basically the same as Sonic.

Now that we've done with gameplay, let's go on to music. Imagine, if you will, the most soothing music possible. It fits the level, and is beloved by all who here it. It brings a smile to the face of all. Now, imagine some of the crappiest music ever mixed with it. Something so mutated and wrong, any who here it lose memories of joy, happiness, and all good things. Memories of dark and evil times flow through you, and make you want to die. That's this game's wonderful, awe-inspiring music.

Next up, level design. In this game, the designer decide to play back to the old 16 bit style, but, to please all, they do it in 3D. All the levels are 3D, but with extreme pixelation to honor the classics. There are tons of loops that are automatic, but they only make about 60% of the levels. The rest consist of springs which require you to find a key to make them work, enemies that can take up to ten hits to beat, not kill, just beat, and tons of obstacles strewn all over the field in the worst possible places.

The Legacy of the SOA Boards
About seven years ago, I was contacted by King Big. He was still at Mobius at the time, but he wanted me to look into SOA. He told me something bad was going to happen there, and he wasn't sure when, why, or how. So I took the job and did it, observing the site for a year.

In the year I saw many things, I saw grand heroes, greater than any before or since, and I saw despicable people causing chaos and anarchy for fun. I wanted to be there, to help those heroes. They were the people I looked up to.

After the year of observation, King Big sent me in. I was a teenager at the time so he was wary, but he needed a kid to get in if he was to learn anything useful, and more importantly, to prevent the evil of the prophecy from being carried out.

So I joined, and I started the Sonic Wars, an effort to unite the fanbase and create peace amongst the populace. In the short run, it worked, but there was fierce competition. You see, back then, SOA had no threats of supernatural warlords, only mob bosses.

Led by Greaseman, him and his lackies picked on anyone who stood against their ideals. As classic elitists, they were determined to prove that they were right and that everyone else was wrong. As a supporter of Love and Peace, I couldn't stand it.

So I did what I could, but I was outgunned, quite easily. King Big had made it clear, even at my best, I'd only take down one. If I was to succeed, I'd need an army to defeat them. And thus the purpose of the Sonic Wars of uniting the fanbase. If I could succeed, I'd make the forum a better place.

It took awhile, at least a year, but things finally shaped into peace and prosperity. We were entering a Golden Age, and I felt proud of all the hard work we'd done. But it came with a price, one that truly nearly destroyed us all.

There was a boy, he joined a few months after me, but way before Zezima. This boy had passion, youth, and even innocence. Truthfully, his story is a sad one. But if you knew his name, his legacy, that fact may surprise. He was MyliferockscuzofShadow.

A child who needed someone to lead him on the right path, but he came to SOA at the worst possible time. The gangsters of SOA were still running strong, and the Sonic Wars were only just getting started. He was young, so he defended his ideals like most children do, but he was alone in them, he hadn't grown up enough to even understand them himself. And he was punished by the mobsters because of it.

In anger and rage, he fought against them, furthering down a path of darkness. He became just as bad as Greaseman and the others, which meant there was little that could be done to save him. And as such, the staff of SOA decided he deserved banishment.

The corruption of SOA chose who to ban, not who deserved it. And even when they did, they hardly stuck to their decision. And as such, it doomed us. The gang eventually broke up, but at some point crazykramer12 showed himself.

It took awhile before we realized he was MyliferockscuzofShadow, but to the staff of SOA, that didn't matter, he looked different enough, so they let him in.

But it was a huge mistake, as he had changed. Any good left in him was gone. He was evil. It became our mission to stop him from causing more harm. It was practically comedic at how back and forth our efforts were to defeat him.

But one day, he vanished. Gone. And finally, we had that Golden Age. It was blissful. People could joke around without causing offense. People could be intellectual and they were taken seriously. Even a former villain or two realized the error of their ways. And with crazykramer12 gone, we realized we had won, for great justice.

But our happiness was short lived. A mysterious man, claiming to be a subordinate of crazykramer12 came along one day. He is forever famous for the fact he had 12 accounts banned in one week, which to my knowledge is an unbroken record. He was not smart, nor was he strong, but he brought back the fear that crazykramer could return.

At long last, King Big came to me, and told me that dark times were coming. Something bad was going to happen, and soon. Sure enough, crazykramer did return, and we went to war again, but only shortly. Somehow, the two had found a way to merge together.

King Big had arrived on Earth just in time, and informed me of what happened. An ancient evil, the Tails Doll, had found MyliferockscuzofShadow, and had been the one to plant the dark seed in him. It was Tails Doll's goal to unleash a prophecy of a monster called The Beast. The monster would be so powerful, it would somehow escape SOA and destroy all of the Internet. The world freaked out, and we rushed to battle. But it got worse.

You see, after the Sonic Wars were won, I decided I didn't want the title of hero. I wanted to be a mentor figure, so I pushed for our hero to be a member named HolyNightmaren. He had everything a leader needed, and he helped us greatly in the battles against crazykramer12. But he was a time traveler. He knew that The Beast won, so when the Tails Doll gave him an offer, he took it, and abandoned us. It hurt us all, but we won the first battle against the Tails Doll.

Another joined the Dark Side, taking his loyalists with him, and to make things worse, I was injured in battle. King Big took over for me for a few days until I healed, but clearly we were in trouble.

And then, it happened. The ritual was complete, and The Beast was formed. Tails Doll was ecstatic, he believed he had won. But he failed. The Beast could not be controlled. It crushed the Tails Doll and destroyed his army. Komodos and HolyNightmaren returned to us, realizing that, no matter how much power the Dark Side gave them, they were going to lose. There was only one hope left, and it was dangerous.

But desperate times called for desperate measures, so HolyNightmaren, Komodos, and I fused together. We became The Holy Komodo Fighter.

Needless to say, we were going for overkill. The Beast was amused, but we had one ace in the hole. Tails Doll had forced The Beast awake, which meant it wouldn't be the prophesied time, which meant it was much weaker than us. We had a long battle, but we were victorious, and the world was safe once more. The Beast was destroyed, and we believed it was in full. From this point, two different stories diverge. One concerning the aftermath and the creation of the Revolution of Gaming, and the other was the Tails' Doll's fate.

For the sake of this, let's stick with Tails Doll. After he was crushed, being a doll and all, he managed to escape and headed up north. King Big had a personal vendetta against him, and so him and I went together, along with some Mobian soldiers, and we hunted the monster down. It didn't take too long, but the battle was intense, and being a kid, I was totally outmatched. But King Big wasn't.

King Big pounded him senseless, and after beating him, we thought we were done, but Tails Doll thought he had an ace up his sleeve. He opened up the void to his power, and tried to seal us all in it. It was a stupid move, because King Big was ready for surprises, so he managed to grab the fool and throw him inside his own void, leaving him trapped, surrounded by all his power, and yet unable to use it.

And for three years, we eased a sigh of relief. Tails Doll was gone, and we had no supernatural evil to worry about. But there is one last bit of this story of Tails Doll. You see, King Big's research led us to discovering the Tails Doll was actually possessed by an evil spirit named Majora. After its near-death experience, it retreated to our dimension and possessed the doll.

Majora's greatest desire is destruction, and after failing to achieve it, it came to our universe, and decided that destroying Empress Cream was the best way to do it. It failed to beat her, but it was bitter, so it took out its anger on Earth, assaulting children and giving them nightmares.

When it discovered the prophecy, it tried to use The Beast to succeed, but failed. When that didn't work, it decided to hide away, so we stopped it. But despite all of that, it escaped, and desperate to possess someone, it went for one person: LightSpeedBlast.

LightSpeedBlast was once a hero amongst SOA members everywhere, but he fell to the Dark Side, finding its evil beautiful. He attempted more than once to become Mly's apprentice, and did many things to prove his chaotic nature was for real. After being sealed in the void for a few years, Majora decided he should be the next vessel, and went straight to him. Truthfully, Majora succeeded, and many of us, Jmh here included, feared for the consequences. But there was an upside.

Each of us has a gift, and for LightSpeedBlast's case, it's that, regardless of what would influence or possess him, he'd still retain command. Majora did possess him, but by doing so, was forever locked inside, with no way to actually control LightSpeedBlast.

Boastfully claiming he now was possessed by Majora meant nothing, because Majora's power could not amplify his because of his own gift, and he could not do anything powerful on his own. The two were stuck together, and to this day still are, living together in seclusion.

Not really, a lot of the stories won't go into books. Pokemon Red will probably be 300 pages, but it won't be in book form.
