A dark shadow loomed in the north, and a War Frigate came into focus; a tall, magnificent shape. The plaque on its hull said, "Scarlet Queen". The crew of the ship rushed around the boat, and the solitary figure of the captain could be seen at the helm. He was a tall, thin man, with a moustache, greying hair, and wearing royal robes. A cry from the mast distracted him.
"Captain! Captain Emp!", shouted a stout figure dressed in seafaring clothes.
"Yes, Jerador?", replied Emp wearily.
"A Navy Ship approaches, sir!" said Jerador
Emp groaned. He had imagined this voyage to be a delightful cruise, free from the annoyance of the Navy. But when such matters came, he had ways of dealing with them.
"To arms, men!" he roared at his crew.
With expert precision and skill, Emp brought the ship up close with the Navy Ship. Then, tying a rope around his waist, he dived from his own mast onto the enemy ship, directing a dagger of his straight at the heart of the enemy captain. Then Emp took out an explosive device from his belt, and, depositing it on the hull of the Navy Ship, swung back onto the Scarlet Queen.
"Let's beat a hasty retreat, boys", he commanded, "Full sail!"
The Scarlet Queen set sail quickly. In the distance, an explosion sounded, as the Navy Ship was blown to pieces. The captain merely smiled to himself in satisfaction.
"Another job well done..." he murmured.
