That's the whole point of the episode, the hypocrisy of our sensitivity towards Muslims.Chaosmaster8753 wrote:OK, so Buddha's allowed to snort crack, Jesus gets to watch internet p0rn, Krishna gets to change into Neil Diamond, and the founder of Mormons gets to use ice breath, but they can't even say Mohammed's name even though the episode doesn't make Mohammed do ANYTHING offensive nor show him even though they did in an earlier episode?

Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Mormons, Atheists, and even Scientologists have all been openly mocked in increasingly crude ways with no significant repercussions, but to even mention Mohammad is forbidden.
SRZ, the speech was made and every time the word Muhammad was spoken it was bleeped. Like they said, too many bleeps were made throughout the episode and if it is put onto the website (which it says it will on May 22nd) then the bleeps will stay there, unlike other episodes which are uncensored.Super Racer Z wrote:Roterblitz wrote:That's the whole point of the episode, the hypocrisy of our sensitivity towards Muslims.Chaosmaster8753 wrote:OK, so Buddha's allowed to snort crack, Jesus gets to watch internet p0rn, Krishna gets to change into Neil Diamond, and the founder of Mormons gets to use ice breath, but they can't even say Mohammed's name even though the episode doesn't make Mohammed do ANYTHING offensive nor show him even though they did in an earlier episode?

Yeah, but you do know that the episode is actually banned from being watched on South Parks website, even censored, and you probably won't see reruns for a while. Also, the final speech at the end made by I think Stan wasn't supposed to be censored, and I believe they said the speech at the end didn't even relate to Muhammad.
