I figured this was a more appropriate forum to post this at, since it's more sonic gaming oriented than the Sega CD forum.
Anyway, behold my project I been working on this past month!
What is it?
Sonic CD Remastered or SCDR, is a semi sequel of Sonic CD.
It features...
-Completely new and remixed Soundtrack
-Sonic 2 Spindash
-Sonic Homing Attack
*Note: I accept no credit for this spindash mod of Sonic CD, the spindash mod was created by qiuu and snkenjoi, credits to them for that, respectively.
But my main remake of this game is the soundtrack itself.
This will bring more life and excitement to this game and for that, I will share you my project and will update here (along with several Sonic sites).
How is it made?
The music itself is all made and composed on Fruity Loops Studio 9, an amazing music program. But the real deal is hacking/editing Sega CD cue files and mp3 tags of the Sonic CD Soundtrack. This is done using a program called Audacity.
Here is a test video of the boss theme and see for yourself how the music blends with the game.

Yes little progress had been made but these are the tracks made so far.

This game along with soundtrack, compressed in winrar, is expected to be done and finished by October 12, 2010. I will constantly update on any new stuff regarding this game.
