That's the only thing that game has in common with Tekken Tag, and just barely; otherwise, the fighting system is completely different. But, if you liked that aspect of TvC, you would probably love Marvel vs Capcom 3, which I believe fits the description of "a badass version of Tatsunoko Vs.
