She can run as slow as a turtle...Maybe even slower than a snail...Okay its official slugs are slower than both turtle and snail so thats the speed of Amy.

She wa pretty fast in that...But, in SA2B she was as slow as a slug in multiplayer races. She made up for it with her un normal attacks and time freezes.

It is a lie. If you've ever seen a slug, they're quite slow. Amy can outrun it with just one step. The same goes for turtles and snails. Amy is very slow. She gets a lot of drag from her boots and hammer.

Her hammer is mostly in an alternate dimension, and she actually pulls it out when she's going faster.
And I doubt her boots slow her down much, if at all. She's quite strong.

Character speeds change all the time.
Luckily Sonic's is pretty much in his bio so we don't have to worry about that at least.

If it were my way, I'd have Amy be slower than Sonic, but only enough so to still give Sonic a run for his money. And since Amy's always chasing Sonic and Sonic's always running, they'd pretty much never close the gap.
