Wii Remote or Normal Controller?

Here's a topic that has really been on my mind lately. Now I don't have anything against the Wii Remote. You strap it around the wrist and you use it to perform actions like you're in a virtual reality world, but I can't help but think that Nintendo is trying to phase out the old and conventional style of playing games. I still enjoy just having a normal controller in my hands, sitting down and playing a game without any attachments involved. I often wonder what happened to the thought process of having any Wii games be made with any option of using a normal controller, because games on that system are almost always exclusive to the Wii Remote style of play.

So what do you think?

Most games that allow a classic controller or Gamecube controller control horribly (see: Sonic Unleashed). However, I do enjoy using my classic controller for Virtual Console games like Sonic 3D Blast and Alex Kidd.

I hate the Wiimote, it's the worst controller ever IMO, it makes my arms ache every time I play SatSR. I use the GameCube controller whenever possible.

i don't mind it to be honest.

Conventional controller are far more accurate, responsive, and comfortable than their glorified baby rattle.

Sometimes I like it, but I usually use a Gamecube controller when possible.

Wiimote

I usually enjoy using both control types, but it mostly depends on which game I'm playing. Games such as Sonic Unleashed, I prefered the GameCube controller, but for other games such as Geometry Wars: Galaxies, I usually prefer the Wii Remote and Nunchuck.

GCN whenever possible.

Both. I don't care. Whatever fits my mood, actually.
