Sonic V Knuckles ~ End all end all

Often in Sonic media Sonic & Knuckles have squared off, but a running joke means they are mostly interrupted and never get to finish their bout properly - so who WOULD win a 1-on-1 non-super fight?

I thought they only got interrupted once. Their fight in S&K and Advance 2 weren't interrupted if I remember right.
But Sonic. Knux is fast, but Sonic's speed puts him at such a major threat Knux probably couldn't stop every attack from Sonic.

I don't know. Sonic is still incredibly fast, but then Knux is strong. Plus, he can also glide.I'm not really sure who would win, but I think I might go with Nuggles.

Knuckles would win every single time if it were not a long range setting.

Actually, maybe it would be more evenly matched. Knuckles is allowed throw boulders, right?

Sonic would win if he had all the space to run around, so he could distance himself from Knuckles' punch attempts and him throwing boulders.

It's always suppose to be a tie as far as I'm concerned.

chances are, he's been around Sonic long enough to keep up with him with his eyes, one strategically placed fist where Sonic would be before Sonic could notice and stop and BAM! INSTANT COMA...

Well, the reason I asked about the boulders is because Knux can use them strategically. If the battlefield is long range material, Knux could start throwing boulders and limiting the space he has to run, or surround himself with them. This way, if Sonic tried to homing attack, he could smack him or throw a boulder at him. :Box:

Sonic would win hands down, he may not have the strength of Knuckles, but IMO speed and power is more important.
