it acts like another RPG released for the PS1. this RPG also had timed SP attacks and group attacks along with button mashing when you want to attack

It doesn't seem similar. And those are really good graphics for PS1.

sure it's not completely similar but it may be where they got the idea for the battles

My friend has that. We never played it.
