A new Sonic Chronicles?

There's been minor news about the sequel for Sonic Cronicles, and I want to know what your guys' opinions are about having one.
I think I'd like to see a sequel. I mean the game had some bad points, but it had a charm and a good base.
so, what do you think?

I disliked Sonic Chronicles and making a sequels would be a wrong turn for Sonic Team.

I'm not a big fan of it, but the last one pretty much screamed to get a sequel. And whether you like it or not, the game sold pretty well.
So what you think is a wrong turn for Sonic Team, this will bring allot more profit then if the series let it keep a big loose end like that.
In fact, that wouldm't really be good for Sonic Team at all.

I like that Eggman/Robotnik has taken over the world, but I'm not looking forward to this after the dissapointment I had w/the first.

It's cool that Eggman took over the world, but I want it to be different then the last, the gameplay got slow and boring after a while.

The idea actually might be scrapped. EA bought out Bioware and realeased their RPG team or something like that.

Sonic + RPG = Bad.

I did like the plot; but Sonic just doesn't belong in an RPG based game imo.
Stick to platforms.

Generally speaking most of the main games are on the consoles, so most of the time I agree with this.

I agree with that, the story and stuff was fun, but the battles and repitition of walking got old.

Sonic has no business in the arena of RPGs. None at all.

Sonic's trademark is that he's all about speed, and that he can go very fast through all of the loop-de-loops. RPGs are the exact opposite of speed. It's pretty slow-paced to begin with, and the process takes awhile for you to get far in RPGs. That's why I wouldn't look forward to a sequel to Chronicles. Turn-based style games do not fit in the Sonic environment.

And Sonic Chronicles was even pretty slow for an RPG.

I thought it was actually a great game. I didn't find it slower than any other RPGs (Final Fantasy 7, my first RPG game was very slow at times) The fighting style was fresh and different to me, and the story was amazing. They probably are going to create a sequel, and I hope that they do.

Probably the only reason why I would want another Chronicles is to see more of Shade and POSSIBLY be able to play as the Chaotix, Blaze, Emerl, Tikal and so on.

Other than that, I could care less. The first one was one of the worst Sonic games I've played, and I don't have hopes for a sequel. I don't think Bioware knows what they are doing at all.
