Your opinion of Sonic Heroes

This is just out of curiosity, but what do you think of sonic heroes? It was the first 3D sonic game I ever owned, and it wasn't even until I started going onto message boards that I even would think it was bad. Was it really as bad as people made it out to be? What are your thoughts?

Poor. Very poor. Poorer than poor. Only comparable game is Shadow.

I like it I just wish the teams had more differents

it's a good game especially if you look at it from the perspective of being a puzzle solving platformer

Anyway, as for my input. Factually I'd say the game was just good. My bias won't allow me to see it as any thing less then great though.

I've found it strange, that over the years, not only has Heroes risen in likeability, but is now getting called one of the best, and the cries for a sequel have also increased over the years.
As for my opinion, Heroes was alright. I liked it more when people liked it less I think.

I thought Sonic Heroes was a good game. It wasn't the very best, but it was still enjoyable. It was actually the first Sonic game I played since the last time I had the opportunity to play the SEGA Genesis titles, and although the controls were difficult to use in the beginning, one you became used to the constant formation changes, the game was rather fun. Though I could never get more than two Chaos Emeralds.

Then shortly after Shadow the Hedgehog I noticed the harsh comments about Heroes increase to a weird maximum. I am noticing a bit of the rising likability now but not much.

Well, I'm going by my experience at SOA.

Number 1 3D game in the entire series.

Well, I'm going by my experience at SOA.

I wasn't on there at the time Heroes was released so I guess I can understand. I came on around the time people started to say "Who the hell is Erazor Djin?"

I think it is very underrated, a great game. I might do a mini review when I have more time this weekend.

I liked it. My only complaint are the extremely repetive levels.

I did think it was great but they should probably not try and focus on recreating the 2-D games like that again. The fans won't notice and just riot at the simplicity of it all for some reason...

lofhlskdajghjsd I hate that crap. It's the whole damn reason I loved the game (there's other stuff too of course).

I hated it. The levels were too long like that castle level (Can't remember the name), checkpoints were too far, and I diliked how you have to do the same exact levels 4 times

It's similar to what they did in Sonic Adventure except they weren't in the same order everytime and a few levels got left out. I understand though.

But Hang Castle was awesome man.

My older copy was no longer working, so I bought the GameCube version yesterday and I actually found it much better than the PlayStation 2 Version. The graphics are a bit better, and the controls are much easier to use. I also found the loading times to be a bit shorter as well.

I have the PS2 version so that sounds like it could be better. I'm keeping the one I have though because my grandma bought it for me.

That really didn't bother me much since I found all the levels fun anyways, except Team Rose.

I think it's pretty good, better than most people make it out to be. When I first got it I actually quite enjoyed it, I played it pretty much every day for about a year. While I don't like the music, camera, character design or 3 characters at once gameplay, I think the levels themselves look pretty good, to me it was the last proper 'decent' Sonic game.

I find this news both good and bad.

I think was an excellent idea on paper, but the actual game itself is completely broken.
