"Can I come with you?", the captain asked.

"Sure, why not?" Jared said, wrapping his arm around Ash's shoulder.

"Thank you, Jared", said the captain, "I really appreciate it."

They reboarded the ship, and soon they were heading to the mainland at incredible speed.

The captain took out his telescope, and he saw an enemy ship heading towards them.

"Oh my god", said the captain nervously, "There are enemies ahead."

Ash and Jared half got ready to jump, half got ready to fight.
"I guess we'll find out what you can do now," Ash said.
"Yeah, you guys will," Jared said.

The enemy ship got closer to the Scarlet Queen. The captain waited a half-minute, then eagerly, after he tethered himself to his own ship, jumped on the enemy ship and stabbed the captain through the heart.

He then entered the fray of the battle, throwing himself eagerly at the enemy hordes.

In the midst of the battle was a blue hedgehog with a jumpsuit on. Being a n00b on the ship really flustered him, especially without modern weapons. He tried to hide in a barrel, but before he jumped in, he was put in a sack and thrown onto the Scarlet Queen.

Ash jumped over a flying barrel and her and Jared wondered whether as to get involved or leave the fight be. Sending a shock wave over helplessly, Ash and Jared watched as The Captain risked being destroyed.

Suddenly admidst all the chaos a white and green hedgehog appeared in front of the group. He pulled out a shotgun and fired shots rapidly at the enemy ship. A couple of the ships members fell to the ground dead.

"Good work!", said the captain to the green and white hedgehog.

He found the green and white hedgehog. Two more enemies came towards them, swords drawn. The captain quickly slew them both in less than a heartbeat.

"Thank you for your help", said the captain, "And if I may ask, what is your name?"

Ash, annoyed that someone else was doing her dirty business, she decided to impress. She felt the power pulsing through her, and let out a snarl. Focusing on the ship and what little of the crew members remaining, she gave a little shout and blasted the ship. It flew backward several yards, and the last of the crew fell on the deck, dead.

"Congratulations!", exclaimed the captain, "Well done indeed, Ash! Also, well done, mysterious green and white hedgehog!"

A loud sound could be heard from a sack covered by the barrel Ash threw early on in the barrel.

The captain's intuition was telling him about a presence. His locket which he wore around his neck flared briefly. He quickly moved a barrel, and exposed a sack. With a sweep of his sword, he ripped open the sack.

Sitting in the remains of what had been the sack, there was an individual.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!?!" screamed Otto. "I could've suffocated in there!"
He looked around and noticed he was still on a ship.
"That really wasn't funny, guys. Now, seriously, where ar--"
He made direct eye contact with Ash.
"ASH!"
He got up and started headed towards her.

"Calm down, guys", said the captain, noticing that all was not well.

"Welcome aboard the Scarlet Queen, Otto", he said genially to Otto, "It's a pleasure to have you on board".

Otto stopped walking towards Ash, knowing he will probably not get a hug from her.
"Well, thanks. I think... So, who might be you?"

"I am Captain Emp", said Emp, "And you're aboard my ship, the Scarlet Queen"

The captain adjusted his tricorn hat, and straightened out the creases on his tuxedo, awaiting Otto's response.

"Ugh..." said the hedgehog annoyed slightly. He pulled out a communicator and whispered silently into it. Once he was done he staggered over to a sack of food and fell down face first. A bullet wound could be seen on his shoulder and bleeding badly.

"What's wrong with tha-- Oh, no."
Otto stared blankly at the shoulder of the hedgehog. It brought back bad memories of his long forgotten friend. Worse than just a bullet wound.
"Does anyone know where land is from here?"

"Uhhhh..." moaned the hedgehog. He rolled over to his side and looked at the wound. He grimaced and went unconcious (Misspelled?).

Captain Emp ran to the hedgehog. The hedgehog looked badly wonded. He quickly opened his vial, and applied it over the hedgehog's wound.

In about ten minutes, the hedgehog's wound had healed completely, and the hedgehog was now fully recovered.

"Who are you?", asked the captain.
