Worst Pain
What was your worst pain ever? Physically or Emotionally. Mine was when my cat ran away. Not just any cat, I had literally dozens before him, but when he was gone, it hurt. Badly. You?

Re: Worst Pain
The death of my close ones for emotional.
Probably the tennis racket that nearly hit my eye for physical.

Re: Worst Pain
Physical: I woke up one morning before class and my neck was so unbelievably sore that I found myself screaming in agony just by moving my head. I was terrified at first that maybe I'd developed a tumor or something (because it hurt the most on the back of my head and running down the right side of my neck). I learned since then that a) I was sleeping with my neck twisted, and b) the cold air from my window made it overly tender. Don't worry, I'm seeing a chiropractor.
Emotional: On February 1, 2001, after a bout of high school midterms in English and Drama (aced in Drama with a monologue from a movie), I came home and received a double-whammy: a) my grandmother in Florida succumbed to lung cancer after months on chemotherapy, and b) the Dreamcast was discontinued. Two important parts of my life were gone, all in the same day...I never cried so hard in my life.

Re: Worst Pain
Physical: Any tooth ache. It's the single most painful thing you can ever experience. It's made worse by the facts that it's always your fault and you usually have to have your teeth drilled and filled.
Emotional: My older brother died two years ago. Also, watching Beavis and Butthead walk off into the sunset at the end of the movie made me cry.

Re: Worst Pain
Physical: I once had this agonizing migraine, it was one of the most painful things ever, I was even crying it hurt so much.
When you think of ear aches you'll probably think of it as nothing, but believe me the pain can be unbearable sometimes! earlier this year I had the most painful earache ever, it was like I was being stabbed in the ear or something!
Oh, and constipated stomaches are pretty damn painful too, I was in terrible pain the last time I suffered from this. >.<
Emotional: When my dog died last year of kidney failure, she was only 3 1/2 years old. T.T I stopped eating for 3 days.

Tie between having Appendicitis and completly breaking my left leg's bones. Yeah, I get hert badly as much as a daredevil preformer. That Broken leg one made me stay in hospital for 7 weeks and miss the first term of my first High School year

Re: Worst Pain
Physical: When I got appendicitis a year ago. I've never had such horrible pain that brought me down to my knees. And then after the surgery, I had to deal with a bubble of gas (that they used to inflate my stomach for the surgery) in my shoulder; very painful as well.
Emotional: You don't really need to know that.

Re: Worst Pain
When I was much younger, I started to carry around a small dagger and slashed across my left forearm whenever I felt any form of emotion. This completely desensitized me to emotional pain and cut my sensitivity to physical pain down to maybe a tenth of what it once was. Because of this, I can't recall any time I've felt emotional pain at all. The worst physical pain I think I've ever felt was when some friends and I got some pellet guns and some rubber pellets, went out into a forest and started to play rubber pellet tag. I hid away for most of it. About five minutes into the third round, and right after I came out of my hiding spot away from the one who was "it," it turned out that everyone was bunched up right around the hollowed out trunk I was hiding in, and as I jumped up after crawling out, one hit me on the base of the neck, another hit me in the shoulder, and one hit me on the head of my ness. Mind you, we had no protective suits on, (In fact, only two of the nine among us -- the girls -- had shirts on.) so it left bruises like you wouldn't believe.

Re: Worst Pain
Well, it was probably actually just a knife and I, being the young fool I was at the time, kept calling it a dagger, and so the memory of it being a dagger instead of a knife just stuck with me. In fact, now that I think about it, it was long enough and thin enough to stab through my arm between the two forearm bones, and I did it at least once after I started stabbing into my arm instead of slashing across it. Other than the dagger/knife confusion, though, the story is, to my knowledge, true.

Re: Worst Pain
Stubbing my toe in a filled box full of Atari 2600 stuff was the worst pain i've ever felt in my life.
This was at running speed.
I've done other stupid things like making my forehead bleed from repeatedly scratching one spot, and causing my elbow to gush out tons of blood, but none of those were painful as this toe stub.

Yeah... and your habits that you reveal to us other than this help confirm and further prove you have such activites that you used to perform. Your story adds up with nothing other than similar references in other posts you made. If you do not show me a crappily taken picture of your forearm with deep tissue scars, then your just eloquently going on randomly in certain intervals about a story you like to make up, without proof or any other evidence that would even begin to start to back it up.

Re: Worst Pain
Physical: I have had many bad things happen, but the most I can remember are when I skinned my knee, and when I got my first tooh that I ever lost pulled out. That pretty much ruined the thought of losing teeth for me, since they did it with dentist pliers and didn't take the time to numb it.
Also, when I was three, I was playing with my friends, and one of them was wearing fake nails. I don't remember it very much, but I remember something happened and that nail went into my eye. I had to wear an eye patch for about two weeks, maybe more, and my mom would try to say stuff like, "we're pirates!" and put a napkin between one of her eyes and her glasses.
Emotional would have to be when I lost my fish Mac, and Mac II (who, my parents admitted later, was actually Mac III. They managed to pull off the middle of the night switch.). I never really met any of my grandparents except my Grandpa Stan who is still alive today, and they're all (except for my just mentioned grandfather) dead.

Re: Worst Pain
Physical pain: Probably when I had gotten my hand impaled by a pencil. It's a very long story and there's lots of blood and stupidness that are involved.
Emotional Pain: Hmm... Mostly dealt by the women who have been in my life.

Re: Worst Pain
Physical: Many. The neck strain I got was absolutely terrible, but so was braking my right forearm; getting a blister or something in my throat that made swallowing very painful, and made eating or drinking anything other than top ramen and water hurt to the point of tears; Surgery I got on a certain, horrible area; an extremely painful ear infection; getting an ingrown toe nail and what I had to do so I didn't have to go to the doctor and get part of my nail removed; taking a fast thrown baseball right in the eye(my first black eye, whoo...); taking a tap from a bat where the sun don't shine; and another muscle strain I got in my shoulder when sleeping somehow, which hurt enough because of the way that I had to move and lift my head to get out of the bed, whelping like a zombie from Half Life, to walk slowly downstairs to my mother to wake her up and tell her to call my dad who was out of the house.
By the time they got back, my heart was racing, and I was shivering in pain. Of course, I stood up, propped my head up with a balled up blanket, and relaxed enough that I stopped shivering and my heart didn't feel like it was going to shake out of my chest. I went to a doctor(if you consider quick care that), and after a while and some quick tests, he diagnosed me with a strained shoulder muscle and gave me a muscle relaxant.
I'm not sure what emotional would be. The shoulder thing was pretty emotional, but then again, I remember it. I don't remember the neck strain as clearly probably because I never ever want to remember those two to three very slow weeks of having to be motionless in pain and discomfort ever again, even though I was on many pain pills and muscle relaxants. I also had a bunch of paranoid doom and gloom rambling things I never want to remember again because Soma and all of the other medications I was on seemed to make my brain coo-coo. Lets just say I suddenly thought my smile was slightly crooked when it was most likely not, and my leg fell asleep, so I came to the conclusion that I was having a stroke. I was also driving my family insane because I could barely sleep, and could do barely anything on my own. I had to have help getting up, I had to have help laying back down, I had to have help getting my drink when it was sitting right next to me on a desk, etc.

Re: Worst Pain
For me, the death of my grandfather was the most emotional hurt I have felt. The most physical hurt I've experienced was when I was scared and my head ran into the corner of a wall. I couldn't breath, I nearly blacked out, and I had to get stitches.

Re: Worst Pain
I can list physical pretty easily right now. THESE GOD DAMNED BRACES! Why do they have to be a constant pain? You don't have to be eating or doing anything specific, just being alive is enough to make these teeth ache terribly. If I try to bite into anything at all chewy or tough, I get an even worse spike of god awful pain which leads me to hold my jaw and make some horrible sound of agony. Because of this, my diet consists of pudding, yogurt, applesauce, mashed up Chunky soup, Banquet TV Dinner Lasagna, Long John Silvers coleslaw, and raisin bran after it sits in the bowl with milk for a while. The raisins I have to chew with my second molars, the only teeth without braces attached.
Please let this pain become manageable within this week so I can eat solid things...
