Pretty cool.
The only concept I liked was the Sonic with Fire for hands.

I don't like the Yeti looking Sonic. It looks stupid.

I LOL'd at the yeti one.
They could have done that one for Holoska.

Chip was so unnecessary.
Absolutely positively agreed. Chip may have been cute to fans, but was he needed? No. Sonic Team only wanted him to be in the game. The one thing that gets me these days is how Tails has to get pushed back to the side by some other character who absorbs his role as Sonic's sidekick, and yet Sonic Team thinks Tails will still be fine. Right...
But anyway, these designs were weird. LOL at Yeti Sonic. I won't forget that design for years to come!

Chip was needed for the storyline. And I honestly think Tails was fine. I understand that the Sonic and Tails friendship veterians felt threatened by this but you really shouldn't look into it that much. They're still best friends.
Not to mention Sonic should be allowed to make other friends as well.
And in the grand scheme of things no one is really needed except Sonic and Eggman.

Again. I'm not seeing what's so glaringly unneccessary. Like I said, everyone besides Sonic and Eggman pretty much are when you look at the big BIG picture. But storywise Chip had a good reason to be there.

Even Eggy isn't necessary anymore though. Sonic too, but the games probably won't sell well without him.

How is Sonic not nessecary?? Besides, every hero needs a side-kick or team, or associates, or citizens, or a setting, or some type of space-time fabric eight times out of ten, I mean... uh.. you know what, forget it, you people always find something wrong with one of my points and I'm deciding I'm not going to let that happen again so I'm just finding my own holes in my statements and now I'm rambling on and on... anywhoozle... I agree that Tails is being shoved into a treadmill of wallpaper that Sonic just walks in front of along with Knuckles.

All the spinoffs show Sonic doesn't need to be in the game for the game to be made.Zezima wrote:The Freedom Fighter wrote:Even Eggy isn't necessary anymore though. Sonic too, but the games probably won't sell well without him.

Well, I suppose they'd help the games sell, but all those characters aren't necessarily needed. Would I want them gone though? No.

Well: Which characters would be needed for say, Heroes?

A good majority if they were to still go through with the team gameplay. But it's not something they really needed to do despite the fact that I thought it was a creative idea.
