They'd probably insert their own stereotypical spunky Japanese girl in later games. Amy herself was from a manga, so I don't see why SEGA couldn't have looked to other Sonic mangas in that scenario.

I agree. It's still a bit funny that she looks for Sonic constantly. I mean, part of Sonic Heroes, or SA1 or 2, involved her chasing after him. I think Unleashed, too.

Amy isn't the best character, although she does make Sonic CD in my opinion. It's just a different story to the rest. I think it could be very emotional and I for one think that it could be a good idea, providing it is done correctly.

And she did make Sonic CD, as without her, I wonder what storyline they'd use.

Yeah, I agree. Although, Sonic games are still great. I would like to see Sonic get captured by Robotnik in Sonic 4, Episode II.
