And why I like him:
He's got a real personality. He doesn't need to be cool, fast or uber cutesy to be bad-a. He already is. Probably the closest one to having a Machiavellian personality because he's very cunning on his attacks and maybe a bit in Rivals.
Also, because he's not a stereotypical teenage boy. He's different. And I respect him because of that. Weapons and being cool doesn't make the hero. Having a sense of justice makes the hero. And Silver, to me, reminds me of a natural born leader (Brick from the Rowdyruff Boys anyone?). He's Captain Kirk, Machiavelli and yes Trunks mixed in one bowl.

My favourite is Shadow. He is a very reserved and rather dark character, which gives him a certain magic instantly. Also, he has a depth and reality to him that you do not find in any other character, and he is a very moving person.
Eggman would be my second favourite, as he is not only the villain of the series, but he is also quite an amusing villain. Plus, he also looks kind of funny with the orange moustache and the red jacket.
