What you will see in the link is the 2012 Mercedes CLS completely uncovered. For those not familiar with the history of the old CLS, it was launched in 2004 as the first 4 door coupe in the world. Many cars have attempted to enter this market, with varying degrees of success. However, although the Mercedes CLS is now no longer the best 4 door coupe in the world, it was still the first.
The new model is no big departure from the old one. Although the tail lights and front lights are now different (as is the grill) the overall shape and structure remains much the same, as does the body. In my opinion, this is a grave mistake. If, like the Jaguar XF, the design was pretty much perfect, then there would be no need to change the design. However, the Merc (while good) could have been improved on, and it was a grave mistake that they left the overall profile of the car exactly the same.
