After many years of new technolongy being added to its massive network, the Internet's capacity of 4 billion IP adresses has nearly been reached. Currently, a new system is being developed, but it is predicted that all remaining IP adresses will be used within the next few months. Google and other sites are already planning ahead, but it is up to new ISPs to change to the new system. Until this new system can be added, the world is currently frantically inputing quick fixes, which are somewhat being considered as a digital version of Duct Tape.
