Is Amy Rose blind?

I found this vid on YouTube which really points it out.

You've got to be mad to mistake Shadow for Sonic.

And poor Silver. He didn't ask for that.

Amy really needs glasses.
I think Sonic Team did that on purpose. I mean in Sonic Unleashed she FINALLY got it right and then she goes "You're not Sonic!"

How many times can you screw somthing up? She needs to see an eye doctor.

I'm just surprised she didn't get all hurt when she hugged shadow from the side with all the quills,or that Silver didn't throw her into a bridge or something in Soleanna with his Psychokinesis,ormove out of the way.

Shadow isn't her fault technically. It's the news who tricked her. They stated that Shadow was Sonic. So for her to think Shadow was Sonic is acceptable.
Second, it's already odd enough she was on the building, and that she wasn't at all aware of the action going on, or even the Neo Egg Carrier flying by. But yeah.
Third, Amy was right and wrong. Right in that she got color, form, and even actuality right, but wrong in minor details that would be harder to notice, such as fluffliness and tone differentiation.
So Amy's only mess-up appears to be SNG. What a coincidence.

but no seriously, all hedgehog shaped creatures look the same. im serious. have you seen a hedgehog before? personally i cant even tell the gender, much less one from the other.

So, I think the real point of this topic is that Amy is able to distinguish her true love from all other poser hedgehogs even with a disabled sense of sight. That's what I call magic.

Amy must be close to legally blind. If she can not differentiate between shapes, sizes, and color to a degree, she must have very poor eyesight. SEGA did a poor job in executing this pun.

Pretty much everyone thought Shadow was Sonic, making her not the only one at fault here.

It was dark when Amy saw Silver.

And she got it right with the werehog.

Seems executed fine to me.

It was dark.

And Silver just jumped off a building right before Amy spotted him not giving her enough time to differenciate before running up to the dark figure with, due to the atmosphere, blueish looking fur and a hedgehog like figure.

Amy has some rather poor vision, in my view.
