My response to My Little Ponies.

I used to like this show alot, but I'm starting to dislike it because of the insane fanbase. I still like it a little bit, but not as much anymore. :/

To me, this is an average show at best. :/

The saddest part about this show's popularity is how the majority of it's fans are males between 15 and 24.

I don't even get the appeal. The art design is so shitty. It's like Johnny Test thrown into a blender with a flamboyantly gay furry's wet dream. Oh wait. There's the appeal.

Why do people between 15 and 24 like Disney movies?

Intelligent writing, generally good animation for a flash show, catchy songs and good morals.

MLP, since the upgrade it got, is pretty much the same way, it's just that there's a double standard against "girl" shows.

Opinions vary, of course, but that's the appeal most bronies see.

I LOVE the show! Can't wait for the second season!

I'm thinking that those were the things he was getting at, but really I have no clue so..

I have some clips of it. That show is pretty much an internet meem at this point.

It's REALLY colorful. Really colorful. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's like a burst of color shooting and burning itself into my eyeballs.

Also, it has Tara Strong, which is cool.

That opening.

Their opening is way longer with random clips from episodes that don't fit in followed by the english opening.

At least they don't have the ridiculous My Little Pony jingle at the start, well it doesn't sound like they do.

Honestly, it's alright. I like it, actually, because I'm inclined to. I'm surrounded by bronies that have hypnotized me to believe it's good, I can actually relate to most of the characters, and I'm a preteen that likes pretty colors. It's better than most shows.

The thing is it would be a lot nicer if it weren't for the fanbase. While most bronies are smart, nice, and honestly good people, there are some things that can't be unseen. Also, for those bronies that make their account pictures ponies, please be careful what you do. Nobody wants to see Twilight Sparkle saying she'll use a near-pornographic base on dA, even if you know the person behind the picture is most likely 30...it's just a disturbing experience. Like said by Supersonic said before me, just don't look up My Little Pony stuff on Google with or without safesearch. It's just thoroughly disturbing what happens in the minds of some people.

This. I think the show's okay, too, but the crazy fanbase really hurts it for me, imo. And I know what you mean. I always see disturbing images of the FiM characters everywhere. <<;

The reason I like the show is because you can relate to some of the things in it, because they exaggerate characteristics and real-life situations. The problem is truly the fans that forget that there are some people that don't look at it they way that they do. I don't see a flash-animated show as the way of life, and I most definitely don't see the characters as something to look at. However, you will find this with every show (Rule 34, people, it's the absolute truth) so just be careful what you look up, and for the love of God, if you have a dA enable mature blocking on preview images or you will want to claw your eyes out whenever you sign on (half of the art on the front page is about ponies now, and a good part of that is stuff you never wanted to see).

This show is just a internet joke now before being a internet joke it
was just a average show cashing into the My Little Pony Franchise.

I watched the first 5 episodes (my friends are huuuge bronies, peer pressure got to me. Plus, I loved the other shows that she made so I figured why not). Unless it gets better, I have to say it's a decent cartoon, probably would be more enjoyable if I was younger. I don't hate it, nor do I think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Just above average, if you will.
The memes, now, I can't get enough of the pony jokes.

(If it makes any of you lol, one of said bronie friends is a massive 200~ pound football player. He's a sophomore in high school.)
