Opinion on Furries

I just need some opinions here, what are your guys' opinions on furries?

To not bring them up?

Which ones? The ones that dress up as animals or are attracted to them?

Furries: "fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics." and i'm just getting confused because lately I've been seeing people who love Sonic, but they hate furries, and according to that definition, Sonic is a furry. Does that really make sense to anyone? And also I just need opinions like, do you hate them, love them, or don't care is all I'm asking.

I am at least fine with furries.

When most people say they hate furries they usually mean the people who dress up as them and are attracted to them, not the definition describing anthropomorphic cartoon or video game characters.

EXAMPLE TIME!

A person who likes dressing up as any animal in any way = Furry
A person who draws anthropomorphic animals in erotic ways = Furry
A person who has a collection of said erotic animal drawings = Furry
Scum of the world = Furry

I actually am well acquainted with quite a number of Furries, especially artists and fursuiters (the guys who design and wear animal costumes, similar to costumed characters at theme parks). They're really fun to hang out with, and I love seeing the reactions of passers-by when they meet a group of fursuiters in public places (such as a nearby burger joint, for example). I've also earned some tips on drawing from a few artists in the group. I even met a Sonic fursuiter in San Jose a while ago, it was a rather well-made costume.

I don't really know anyone who is "attracted" to these characters.
