Re: Favorite Level
Classic: Chemical Plant
Modern: Rooftop Run
but overall it is Rooftop Run, the music was just great and it was just an awesome representation of what the modern sonic standard should be.

Re: Favorite Level
Rooftop Run. This level feels so much like Sonic. Running on the rooftops of what looks like a European city is awesome.
Classic... probably Sky Sanctuary.

Re: Favorite Level
I really liked Seaside hill from heroes.
The level design was fantastic and so were the visuals (from my point of view atleast xP), and the music was just amazing. ^^
I also liked Empire city from unleashed.. best post-dreamcast level in my opinion.
I think Rooftop run is a little easy for a level (if anything, it should be one of the first levels in unleashed). Empire city is a lot more challenging.

Re: Favorite Level
City Escape will always have a place in my heart. As for classic levels, definitely Ice Cap Zone Act 2. Act 1 had too many crushers for my tastes.

Re: Favorite Level
I would have to say City Escape. I have probably played that level 500 times.

Re: Favorite Level
I found out recently that Sonic Adventure 2 Battle actually tells you how many times you've played a level, I've got just over 100 for me on City Escape. SEGA knows how to make their games (if one ignores '06).

Re: Favorite Level
Favourites, eh?
Well...
Classics: Ice Cap, Chemical Plant, Lava Reef and Hidden Palace.
Dreamcast: Emerald Coast, Speed Highway, Lost World, Final Egg, City Escape, Crazy Gadget, Final Rush, Seaside Hill/Ocean Palace, Rail Canyon, Bingo Highway, Egg Fleet/Final Fortress, Digital Circuit, Sky Troops, Space Gadget, Final Haunt.
Modern: Kingdom Valley, Crisis City, Aquatic Base, Radical Train, Spagonia, Eggmanland, Planet Wisp, Terminal Velocity.
So... yeah. Don't ask me to narrow it down.

Re: Favorite Level
Sorry if this is a bit nit picky, but Sonic Heroes is not on the Dreamcast.

Re: Favorite Level
SEGA just did that because they wanted three zones each era.

Re: Favorite Level
I was just basing the Dreamcast bit off Generations.. ^^; I don't want to start a fight based off specifics.

Re: Favorite Level
I wasn't starting a fight, by all means. I wonder why they would put Sonic Heroes with the Dreamcast...I guess they really just wanted that trio thing to keep going, like others suggested.

Re: Favorite Level
Man everyone is saying rooftop run is a really good level, maybe I should get Unleashed back out and replay it...is it only good on the HD consoles or is it universal?

Re: Favorite Level
Well, perhaps. But aren't the Gamecube, Playstation 2, Xbox and Dreamcast [before it died] from the same gaming generation? Maybe they just stuck Sonic Heroes in it because it might've been.nuva500 wrote:I wasn't starting a fight, by all means. Re: Favorite Level
Well, I only have Unleashed for the 360, I'm not so sure I can really vouch for the other systems, but yes, it was my favorite level of the whole game for me, I really enjoyed it! And yes, Sonic Heroes was on the Gamecube, I would know because I had my own copy of it on the Gamecube, I think when people reffer to the Dreamcast era, I'm pretty sure they're referring to the games from 1998-2003(or 2004), and obviously Classic era is from 1991-1997, and Modern era is just from 2005-current.

Re: Favorite Level
If I were to pick an all time favorite stage, it would either be one of the casino zones, or Angel Island.

Re: Favorite Level
I know it was on Gamecube, I just didn't think to count the gamecube in the Dreamcast era.
