Best Super Sonic Gameplay

In any sonic game, which super sonic gameplay did you like the most and why?

Personally, i liked SA2b's S.Sonic gameplay most because you move in full 3d (unlike secret rings and black knight) and it's simple, just hit the weak spot and avoid attacks.

I don't know if it counts because it's technically Darkspine but its still awesome.

Sure you don't ACTUALLY fight Dark Gaia, you only take down the shield. But man, taking down the shield was awesome. NIGHTS Gameplay FTW!

Gameplay wise, Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2's were the most exciting.

I hated the way it worked in Sonic Adventure. It wasn't really playing as him. He just shot at the water god and you had to move him left and right. I found the boss frustrating actually.

Sonic Adventure 2 I found fun because I got to control how he went forward and how he stopped.

Sonic Heroes had me moving on my own... I think? I don't remember. But I had no problem with this. It was easy to control him.

Shadow's boss was a huge pain but his control wasn't at least. The chaos spears were fun to fire at least.

Sonic Next-gen had me moving left and right and up and down in a more restricted version of SA1's style. I didn't like that. But I forgave it for what I had to do to defeat the boss. CHARGE!!!

Sonic Unleashed I'd say was the best simply because slamming against those snake heads was a lot of fun. Of course immediately after that I heavily detested the Spam X button 60 times thing.

Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles of course. You could use him in any stage and he was fun to play as.
If you mean for a last boss...
Sonic Heroes.. like the only redeeming part of the game was the last boss to me. Sonic Adventure 2's was also good.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. Uggh.. it was Sonic Adventure 2's final boss gone craptastically wrong.

The way it's programmed, if you go too fast, it'll go super fast.

I haven't played Super Sonic that often as I never get very far in the games, but I'll go with Sonic Adventure, I LOVED playing as Super Sonic in that game! =D

Perfect Chaos. It's amazing. No other final boss battle is as exciting or wonderful. Plus, it's the only battle that doesn't take place in the sky or in space.

Oh, do the Rush games count? I also love Exception from Sonic Rush. That battle is epic.
