True Sonic Fan

Over the years There has been a unholy war between the classic and modern Sonic fans. About which version of Sonic is better Modern or Classic? it's a war that's gone on long enough, and I believe this fight between the two is destroying everything that is Sonic and it hurting those who are True Sonic Fans. You may have your opinion about Sonic and where Sega has gone with the franchise over the last 20 years,but that does not mean you should bash them on every decision they make with the Sonic and the series. You don't have to like the path Sega,and Sonic Team has taken with Sonic ,but you should respect their hard work and the direction the series is going. A true Sonic fan appreciates both ears of Sonic's and respect, and understands the direction Sega and the Sonic team has gone over the years. they also acknowledge the faults of the series,but see the overall picture is more good than bad.Sonic Generations is a movement that's ment to brings an end to the fan-base war. I love both generations of Sonic.

I enjoy both classic and modern, mainly because the other options are being in the classification of annoying modern fans or whiny classic fans.

This is like asking a parent if you love your kid more now than before, or vice versa. It's still the same person, the only thing that's changed is how much time has passed.

Same difference, Sonic is still Sonic, and this is arguing an inconsequential point. It's not like Sega is going to descend from the sky and suddenly crown someone as an ultimate Sonic fan.

I totally agree with you, TrueSonicBlue, I don't know why people hate Modern(or Classic) Sonic. Really, in my opinion, wether it's Classic Sonic or Modern Sonic, Sonic is still Sonic, and I'll love him either way. I really think the whole Modern vs Classic war is really pointless and that people should look at the better instead of the worse, and realize this isn't 1991 anymore.

I think both designs of Sonic each have their own charm, and both gameplay styles of Sonic both have their qualities, but in the end Sonic is still Sonic.

I'm a fan of both. I have action figures of both classic and modern Sonic. Hell my whole room is turning into some kind of SEGA Showroom!

I'm a fan of both Classic and Modern Sonic.

I'm an all-around fan. I grew up during the modern era, but I love the classic games too. I don't care about the color of Sonic's eyes, how tall he is, or whether or not I'm boosting. I just want to have some good, speedy fun.

I'm truly a fan of both.

You know if you get good enough you can go fast in the classics too, right?

You're a fan whether you like old or new. No one fan is more true to the series than the other.
