Well, sure, the backgrounds do. But his model looks bleh, I'll say. And that dust is kinda annoying. He's running on grass, not soot.

I like how the checkerboard pattern has a more dimensional, almost rendered quality to it now. The interface looks very clean, and the lighting is very bright. Also, it's been told that the running animation of Sonic in the trailer is not the finished run cycle. It's still being worked on.

Cel-shaded means that it's made to emulate hand-drawn visuals, such as Jet Grind Radio or Okami. This one is using rendered visuals.

I still wish they went with traditional sprites. Would have been loads better, and maybe I'd have been able to use them for Sonic Supreme. Oh well...

Well of course. You don't make Sonic Supreme after all. But sprites would have been more traditional. And would have been a really cool place to use for Sonic Supreme too.sykog77 wrote:I disagree.
