In what way would this group benefit the members of this forum? Pshaw, the only member allowed is ME. Other people would benefit because they would get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bask in my awesome radiance.

Why should this group be allowed to form? Form a place to stay for avoed SEGA fans, who play all types of games from SEGA.

In what way would this group benefit the members of this forum? Would be a great way to talk with SEGA fans about SEGA, without having other people pop in and clog up discussion with posts about know nothing of the topic at hand. ;)

But since this is The Sonic Community, I figured that most everyone here would be a Sega fan. I think usergroups should be more of a niche thing, not too broad. I mean, we already have an entire board dedicated to Sega, so being in a usergroup would not add any discussion.

Not me. I only like Sonic in SEGA.

Why not have a Usergroup for the fans of the main characters of the series? We could have a:
Sonic Fan Club
Tails Fan Club
Knuckles Fan Club
etc.

Metal Sonic fanclub?

A fan club just for Metal Sonic might not work because there aren't many fans of Metal Sonic here. A fan club for the robots of the series like Metal Sonic, Gamma, Omega, and such may be better.

I really don't think we should have any more than, say, eight usergroups.

I'm also going to suggest an Artist guild for those of you geniuses who do drawings and stuff beyond the bounds of my creative comprehension.

get creative with the names. examples:

amy's army
tails's team
knuckles's krew
sonic's scrubs
shadow's screwups

stuff like that.

lol at Shadow. Yeah, you would be Amy's leader undoubtfully, so you can use whatever name you want for hers

Why not return the Fan Fiction Group as well?

Nobody posts in the Fan Fic Forum anymore since Chaotix Manix and I AM SILVER left, so it's pretty useless.

Why not have a Fan Club for each company? We could have a Nintendo Fan Club, a Sony Fan Club, and a Microsoft Fan Club.

We would need a lot more members for that, besides, I don't think many would be that specialist in the company they choose. I'd only consider it if we recieved more traffic.

Why should this group be allowed to form?A few members have Xbox 360 or Xbox and would be able to stand out more and see what other members have the same interest in them

Here's a few things, people who join this group can exchange Gamertags so they can be Xbox live friends and play games together, people can ask other user on advice on games there stuck, people can get tell other group user what games they find good (and maybe a user will buy that game).

For those members who own Last generation consoles like Game cube or even a 64

Unlike Microsoft Groups or Nintendo groups, this will be less likely to make flame wars and the Admin won't have to waste time making 3 groups.

I say nay to both of those ideas, Army.

ya, i think it defeats the purpose of a usergroup to have it too broad. the more specific, the stronger the bond.
