Portable gaming Sonic fans are in luck as Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is set to be released for the Nintendo 3DS. There has also been a bit of info regarding the game's release for the PS Vita. However, unlike the console and PS Vita version, Transformed for the 3DS will be much simpler to play.
The difference in gameplay is stated to be due to children having trouble playing beta levels. There will also be changes in the engine used for the 3DS version as well as an absence of some game modes like Traffic Attack, which would be replaced with much simpler modes.
Release dates for the PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS has been originally stated to be November 16th in Europe, however, that has been officially delayed by Sega of America until later December.
What do you guys think about the change in gameplay for the 3DS?
