to keep others away.
It usually works,
even though it hurts
when people call
my god complex inane.
I'm inane and,
I'm insane.
There's something so wrong with my brain.
I can't take it anymore.
I wanna die, I wanna die, I wanna die.
I lie and lie and lie and lie,

I hate myself, don't quite know why.
Well, I'm a coward, and
I don't have the power to
kill myself. Someone help me live.
Or at least have that power to give.
I love you,
I hate you,
I don't know what to think.
You tug at each heart-string.
People call me crazy,
I stare and just say "maybe."
I wish I knew for sure.
I'm always wanting to know more.
Someone out there help me.
I'm really not myself.
I lie so compulsively,
my affections are all shelved.
What was I like? What's my name?
Was it Mike? Was it Dane?
I feel far off, and not the same.
Whatever I was, I'm now not me.
I can't take it anymore,
this living without form.
I live without friends no more.
I can't take it anymore.
I can't remember anymore.
My memories make a hateful roar.
I feel shaken to my core.
My heart's gone out, I write no more.
I hope you at least understand me better now. Even if you still don't love me.
