When i heard people saying it was extremely annoying listening to those things 90 straight minutes, I thought was an exaggeration. I watched about 15 minutes of a game, one long continuous noise that never stopped. EVER

Italy's out! Slovakia beat Italy 3-2 and eliminated the defending champs!

Mexico (A second) vs Argentina (B winner)
USA (C winner) vs Ghana (D second)
England (C second) vs Germany (D winner)
Netherlands (E winner) vs Slovakia (F second)
Japan (E second) vs Paraguay (F winner)
Brazil vs H second
Portugal vs H winner
In Group H, Chile need a win or tie to advance and win the group. Spain need a win OR tie and Switzerland loss. Switzerland need a win OR tie and Spain loss. If both teams tie, Spain advance (Spain has +1 differential, Switzerland 0). Unless Honduras win AND make up the deficits against Spain and Switzerland, they won't advance.
So tomorrow's the last day for group play. On Saturday, the World Cup begins the Knockout portion with the Round of 16 using the pairings above as well as those formed by the top 2 Group H.
