Silver charged at him in desperation, Shadow knocked him down with an unnecessarily fancy kick, even if you were playing as Silver and "won" the boss battle. The fight wasn't over. He did get back up.
All that did was show a scene where Shadow had an advantage and then the fight stablized when chaos control was activated accidently.

I reckon Shadow would, he seems more powerful, but then I could be wrong because I don't pay much attention to Shadow and Silver (they're my least favourite characters).

His weakness being his speed though. It's not something that can be determined by information alone. Skill and fighting know-how has to be taken into account.

My god don't you people remember anything, in Sonic 06 Shadow and Silver fought and it ended up as a tie. Oh and don't think Sonic would beat Silver, also in 06 Sonic lost in the battle to Silver.

Nope because they are about even in power.
Sonic has no power but speed. Speed can't beat Silver's type of power in any easy way.

I'd think Shadow, with his teleporting and chaos powers and hand-to-hand skills and whatnot, although it'd be close if Silver used his telekinesis to it's fullest. And if Sonic fought Shadow, he'd probably have a decent chance of winning. It's just that he was poorly depicted in Sonic 06. If he was going at his mach speed level speed, using hit and run tactics to weave in and out from Silvers view, kicking and spin dashing and homing attacking into him, the fight would be close. Shadow, Silver, and Sonic would all have fighting chances against each other imo.
